We found Ontario Provincial Parks to be very nice and clean. The park staff were friendly and helpful. Our site at Kakabeka Falls. Pet goats at the Thunder Oak Gouda Cheese Farm. Shamus makes friends at the waterfront park in Thunder Bay. He is considered to be Canada's greatest athlete. The Sea Lion at Sleeping Giant Provincial Park.

It was our first time using the Rav-4 as a tow vehicle. It worked great! The park is full of wonderful examples of C.C.C. buildings. Shamus and Elaine on an early morning stroll along the bluffs.. We had a nice hike on the 1000 Steps Trail. Shamus takes a rest overlooking the Big River valley. A yummy pot of beef stew, mmmmm. A nice evening for a campfire.

Tuesday, December 20, 2016. Crooked River State Park for Christmas! It's that time of year again! Crooked River for Christmas. We arrived on a misty, cool Friday night and got set up on Site 18. We'd brought a club and balls so first thing we did was hit the mini-golf course. We had an early dinner and fire to rest up for the festivities the next day - a trip into St Mary's, a hay ride and visit with Santa!
