Todorojo: Santiago de Compostela
http://todorojo3.blogspot.com/2008/07/santiago-de-compostela.html
Thursday, July 17, 2008. His own death, James´disciples supposedly transported his body back to Spain and buried it in a secret sepulcre at the site where the cathedral now stands. Below the cathedral, a golden coffin holds the purported remains of the apostle. Well, I hope you´re enjoying the history lessons. I find them extra fascinating because they apply to both Spanish and History. Until next time. Hasta luego. In Peru, during an indigenous uprising in 19th-century they adopted Santiago. There is a ...

Todorojo: Baiona, Spain & Portugal
http://todorojo3.blogspot.com/2008/07/baiona-spain-portugal.html
Wednesday, July 16, 2008. Baiona, Spain and Portugal. That's neat that you got to go to Portugal. Is it easy to go country hopping there? Did you just go to Portugal to say you went there? Or do they have better lunch food? July 20, 2008 at 9:18 PM. July 21, 2008 at 12:10 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I have started a new blog regarding my new book, "The Narrows Escape." The DTB Cousins: The Path Less Trodden
http://dtbcousins.blogspot.com/2015/04/the-path-less-trodden.html
Sunday, April 12, 2015. The Path Less Trodden. I love to travel. I also enjoy quiet solitude - exploring the unknown. I often choose to vacation in areas that are less crowded. It is one of the reasons I've always been drawn to Robert Frost's poem "The Road Not Taken." It is also why I've enjoyed hikes such as the Virgin Narrows. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Todorojo: Merida, Salamanca, Avila, etc.
http://todorojo3.blogspot.com/2008/07/merida-salamanca-avila-etc.html
Wednesday, July 23, 2008. Merida, Salamanca, Avila, etc. As my time in Spain quickly comes to a close, I figure I´d do a wrap-up of several of the places that we visited that I never had time to write about. Malaga, located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea is the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, perhaps the most famous artist of the 20th century. There is a museum now at the site of his boyhood home. It is also famous for its fried sea food. Cuenca is the site of the famous hanging houses. Built on...

Todorojo: Homes in Spain (Madrid)
http://todorojo3.blogspot.com/2008/07/homes-in-spain-madrid.html
Monday, July 7, 2008. Homes in Spain (Madrid). People double park with their emergency lights flashing if they´re not going to be gone long. It isn´t legal, but the police usually turn a blind eye because they understand the problem. We really do need to take note of our water hapits, especially in our area where water is sometimes a premium. We take so many things for granted! July 8, 2008 at 6:47 PM. Todorojo: Granada, Spain
http://todorojo3.blogspot.com/2008/07/granada-spain.html
Friday, July 4, 2008. I´m a little behind because I didn´t have much internet access on our trip through southern Spain. Now that I´m back in Madrid, I should have a little more time. We were in Granada on June 30 - July 2. While there, we got to see the famous cathedral that was built by los Reyes Catolicos Fernando y Isabel (Ferdinand and Isabella). They are credited with completing the Reconquest. July 4, 2008 at 10:26 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Path Less Trodden. Food, meals, etc.

http://dtbcousins.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 27, 2014. ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. I was nominated for the challenge by my wife to participate in the ALS Ice Bucket challenge. The challenge has been sweeping the nation, raising funds and awareness for Lou Gehrig's disease. Today I took the challenge and nominated the other DTB Cousins (Darin and Troy) to participate in the challenge as well. Links to this post. Sunday, August 17, 2014. Arthur at the Riverside Walk Trail. In the earlier drafts of The Narrows Escape. Now what do I do?
