THE COLEMAN MASSACRE: Fort Roosa

Tuesday, July 7, 2009. Because of that, it was entirely possible for the Indians to take their captives right past the fort with no interference. That is also why the rescue effort was left up to the townspeople. The fort was garrisoned again during the Revolution. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). LICKENSPLIT RIVER VALLEY: December 2007
http://lickensplitrivervalley.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Welcome to the world that is the setting for my romantic suspense novels: The Snare of the Fowlers and The View from Hawks Mountain. Snell and Columbine counties are completely fictional, as are all of the characters and all of their experiences, but for Sarah Townsend and Ann Sheridan, the dangers and the love are real. Monday, December 31, 2007. Has it really been a year since I visited the Lickensplit Valley? The Snare of the Fowlers. And need to remedy that. Posted by Diana @ 3:27 PM.

Narom ara'n Arva, there is Light! Welcome to Casanarva and come join me in my shining, magic world! You have heard of the Seven Seas. If you sail the Eighth Sea, you will come to Casanarva, where touch-telepathic kings rule and Velnar Knights ride unicorn-like shahnarn into battle. For the last 5,000 years Darkness has ruled. Will you serve the Darkness, too, or stand with Etendil ra'n Arva, the prophesied Bringer of the Light? And who is this One foretold? How will we know him when he comes? Actually I ...

THE COLEMAN MASSACRE: September 2009
http://thecolemanmassacre.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 9, 2009. I think one of my problems with this story is that I can't get into Hannah's head. She's not. How could she run off and leave her kids to be burned at the stake? If Jack and Carrie were already dead" is a possibility. It's not historically accurate. But Jack is certainly asking for it with his resistance. What of Carrie? Secondly, of course, maybe the only child Hannah had was the baby. I've arbitrarily given her Jack and Carrie as children, but if they weren't hers? This ma...

THE COLEMAN MASSACRE
http://thecolemanmassacre.blogspot.com/2009/01/my-novel-entitled-coleman-massacre-is.html
Friday, January 23, 2009. My novel entitled The Coleman Massacre is based on an actual Indian raid that occurred in September 1757 in Burlingham, New York. The story is based on the accounts of two narrators: a woman who survived the raid and the man who led the rescue party. I am trying to fictionalize the account while still remaining faithful to the details they provided. And, of course, I have run into a lot of problems, as anyone who has written historical fiction knows. January 27, 2009 at 9:44 PM.
