Traversing the Landscape of Home: February 2010
http://traversingthelandscape.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html

Brief lull between two storms, I take two walks, one with each of my dogs. At the beginning of our road walk, my dog, Lothaire surveys the cemetery, and I find a white cavern with shadowy stalactites opening from within a bank of blocky, melting snow. For the past two weeks, I have been living with vases tulips, the bouquet on the ta...

Traversing the Landscape of Home. WORDS AND IMAGES OF PLACE. Tuesday, January 26, 2010. As I look around this morning, in the wake of yesterday's hard rain and 50 mile per hour wind gusts, I am amazed at how much is revealed. In the blue-grey dawn on this hilltop, no breeze rises yet, but the intimation of movement is everywhere. A foot of. Has evaporated, laying open stalks of. Bee balm, and the bones of. Is such a contrast to the rich green-yellow of the hay. Sheep are great. Wise and stunning book,.

Traversing the Globe: Profile
After spending four years cultivating a very healthy debt to The Student Loan Company at the University of East Anglia, I have been working hard to earn some cash to put towards this little jaunt around the planet. I hope we do get round to uploading lots of photos and make little comments along the way. Even if no-one else, at least mum can check up on me! I can't wait for my real favourite person ever and I to set off on that fateful date. We've got so much planning to do and such little time.

Reason, science, philosophy, everything else…. Treating the vaccination myth. Seen on Facebook: Part of the reason we have diseases is because of the shit they put in the vaccinations. It seems to make sense and gives us warm feelings that we have understood the world and can proceed with that knowledge. On the flipside, we are happy to accept the extremely high probabi...
