Palace to the Front (Wang Na). This chapel was built in 1787 to enshrine the Phra Buddha Sihing image that was brought down from Chiangmai. When the prince of this palace passed away King Rama I moved the image to the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. King Rama IV had the Phra Buddha Sihing image brought back here to mark the nomination of his brother Phra Bat Somdej Phra Pinklao as the Second King. The image remains here today.
