Just another WordPress.com weblog. June 9, 2009 by Travis Curtice. Today, I built nearly two hundred pressed ISSP bricks (Video below). It’s a lot of work, but I love watching as the Ugandans stand amazed that a white man can work. Oh, also Kaitlin too has proven amazing. She’s swapping recipes, cooking and loving on the women here. She sang for everyone one night and it was awesome! Our friend Julius recorded it on his cell phone along with our friends who sang for us in Lugandan. Peace and Hope,. In tw...

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Archive for June, 2009. From Palero back to Gulu. On June 27, 2009 4 Comments. After two days fishing on the Nile River at Murchison Falls, we reached Gulu Monday afternoon. The time at Murchison was such a blessing. The team we worked with from Wine to Water, mainly two guys, Doc and Allen decided to pay for our two days on safari as an anniversary present. The peace and calm of the Nile provided a well needed reprieve after Atiak. Peace and hope,. Today, I built nearl...

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; We remain with only two weeks left…. 4 Days to Go. July 17, 2009 by Travis Curtice. We are back in Kampala until Tuesday night, then we fly home. We spent three days in Jinja, swimming in the Nile, praising God for the beauty of the nature He has created, and meeting some really great people. We got a bit of souvenir shopping in, as well! I am so thankful I got to have that day so close to the end of our trip…it was a blessing. On July 17, 2009 at 5:31 pm. Too ba...

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; Previous Post. From Palero back to Gulu. June 23, 2009 by Travis Curtice. We are in Gulu finally, and have access to internet at a cafe nearby. We spent the last week in a village called Atiak, right next to the Sudan border. We spent the week there opening Connect Africa’s center there, and then headed here to Gulu. We’ve missed being in touch with everyone; we are so thankful for the emails we have received, and we miss you all very much! Enter your comment here.

Travis + Joy - Womens Leather Clothing Australia
Taking womens leather to the next level. For years, the clothing industry used leather as a material for heavy-duty clothing (think leather jackets, helmets, and cowboy chaps). But at Travis Joy, we have taken a new and previously unexplored path in the world of leather to create some ultra-chic designs for women. All of our products are made from 100% genuine leather, and designed with individuality in mind. If you’re looking for leather skirts online. In terms of footwear, go for heels or trendy boots.

Friday, April 26, 2013. Happy Campers and Happy Weekend. We went to Wolverine Canyon with Kristin and Dustin last night and stayed up way too late, having oh so much fun! I made sure to charge my camera battery before we left. And then instead of putting it directly in my camera, I set it on the kitchen table. I forgot it. Lesson learned! Thank heavens for iPhones, (and neat apps.). We made smores and roasted starbursts. Yum. I don't know what we will do all next week while they are in Hawaii? Quick Craf...

Just another WordPress.com weblog. August 6, 2009 by Travis Curtice. We love you all. Thank you for your prayers and support. July 20, 2009 by Travis Curtice. I wanted to share an email I sent to my parents with all of you so that you might continue to pray that God will clarify our roles in this work. Is exchanged for a suit coat bought off the boat from the salvation army. I realize that I am venting and prefer the African theology. Of faith in God. Catholics to Pentecostals and work for peace and unity.

Sunday, December 22, 2013. Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Trouble At the Inn. Trouble At the Inn. For years now whenever Christmas pageants are talked about in a certain little town in the Midwest, someone is sure to mention the name of Wallace Purling. Wally’s performance in one annual production of the Nativity play has slipped into the realm of legend. But the old timers who were in the audience that night never tire of recalling exactly what happened. They’re no bother.”. Then the time came when Joseph ...

October 2, 2012 at 11:15 am ( talkalittle. All through the year, you will see carts full of seasonal produce as you walk through the city. The strawberry season is short. Some days, turnips may be all you can find out on the streets. In the fall, though, you can find anything from tomatos and corn to watermelons and squash. This is a melon cart sitting outside our neighborhood. City Streets – Guest Post. May 29, 2012 at 9:51 am ( guest. Almost everything here is unlike my usual driving experience. La...

First Comes Love...
Thursday, January 30, 2014. Waiting, waiting, and more waiting. The one thing I feel that has been missing from this adoption journey is God. Not because He is unavailable, but because we haven't been inviting Him along. That's where the doubt and anxiousness comes from- we have been trying to do this alone. Why would we exclude the one that has put adoption on our hearts and given us the strength and perseverance to make it this far? Posted by Travis and Kari. Friday, July 12, 2013. The updating process...
