Andrea & Joseph: September 2012
http://andreaandjosephbowler.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Even though we live far away in a whole new land it feels like there isn't much to report. We finally received our car! I am trying as best I can to freeze the freezable fresh produce while it's in season. So far we have grapes, a few peach halves, green bell pepper slices, and two quarts of homemade tomato soup. What else should I be freezing? Kathryn, we don't even take pictures of ourselves anymore! Perhaps we'll take one for you soon.). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Life is so good! Mrs V {at home}.

Hey everyone, here are some pictures for you all to enjoy. I go from older younger :). That was pretty much my first and second day. I’m hoping to get to go home with mommy today but the doctor said I was yellow bellied (I’m no coward) and I may hang out in the sunlight for a bit, really hoping for a tan! Andrea & Joseph: January 2013
http://andreaandjosephbowler.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
It has been a while since we've done a post. Surprisingly it was a really busy holiday season for us. Saileey spent too many nights up too late and we spent a lot of time with friends who stayed in Tashkent too. Our most recent outing was a trip to the mountains! As you can barely tell, those yellow things people are dragging are the sleds. If you link up with a few of them, you get going pretty fast! Don't worry Andrea, it fits two :). Here's Andrea like a champ! Saileey and Dad going for a walk. Th...

Andrea & Joseph: March 2013
http://andreaandjosephbowler.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
For those who haven't heard. A few weeks ago we had a big decision to make. It has been confirmed that our decision has been validated to stay here in Tashkent Uzbekistan for another year! This means our tour will end May 2015. I only hope Saileey will go easy on us. We thought spring was here for good last week, however we had rain and snow this last weekend and it was so cold! Outside the circus. Of the 3 hour show we only made it through 2, Saileey wasn't interested one bit. Trying out the new stroller.

Andrea & Joseph: Random Pictures
http://andreaandjosephbowler.blogspot.com/2013/08/random-pictures.html
I posted our London trip and our cruise below. Since we were behind I wanted to just put in some recent pictures of Saileey and us in addition (for the grandparents). This is one invention that makes me proud. It is a card table with just two of the legs extended and the other side rested on pillows so it is perfect for Saileey to color on. She loves to play the piano and sing, I'm glad she takes after her mother :). Still working on the concept of playing the piano. 04 August, 2013. I would like if poss...

Things sure have picked up once I got off the airplane. Saileey had her 4 month checkup, which meant shots again. She was very brave this time, didn't even flinch for the 1st one but with the 2nd came the crying and the tears. It didn't bother her nearly as much as the 2 month shot. She is 24 inches and weighs 11 pounds. (This was about 3 weeks ago now). Saileey has been working on rolling from her back to her tummy and also on sitting up! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Saileey is a very cautious baby so she was hesitant about the clay at first. When she was okay with it of course she tried a taste or two. She mostly scratched at it with her fingernail. I've always wanted to try a pottery wheel! Saturday Sept. 22 I went on a morning outing with Julianne and Cameron, my LDS gals. We went modest clothes shopping to Chorsu Bazaar. They have rows and rows of tiny shops. Just a normal street in our neighborhood. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Life is so good! Mrs V {at home}.

Andrea & Joseph: December 2011

This is a little ghetto, but we waited until the last moment and got a Christmas tree. One usually needs a Christmas tree stand, but.since we don't have one and don't want to buy one we used one of our dead plant's pot. Since dirt doesn't hold as well as screws, we tied the tree to our sofa to ensure that it stays mostly upright. Take that Charlie Brown! Please not the green leaves and foliage behind our apartment, not very Christmas weather 60 degrees and raining. Back by popular demand, Saileey Bowler!
