this routine riot: shoes
http://6speed.blogspot.com/2008/10/shoes.html
A little less zoom. With a little more vroom. Friday, October 17, 2008. One of the funny things about Australia is that people wear there shoes inside their house! Just walk in without taking your shoes off. I'm used to taking off my shoes and even movers in Edmonton would put on little booties before stepping inside your house. The other thing is that I have seen many people walking on the street without shoes on! It's almost the opposite here. Strange, but true. Posted by ed @ 5:09 PM.

this routine riot: bummer heights high
http://6speed.blogspot.com/2008/11/bummer-heights-high.html
A little less zoom. With a little more vroom. Friday, November 07, 2008. I just heard on the radio that HBO has taken on and is broadcasting an Aussie comedy called " Summer Heights High. If you ask any Aussie what that is, they can tell you and probably recite the whole series. It is a mocumentry of a public school in Australia with the main characters all played by one actor (Chris Lilley). This series is hilarious! On another note, we have moved lots of stuff into our new house and it is wonderful!

A little less zoom. With a little more vroom. Thursday, June 30, 2005. Today, we went out to get some McDonald's. Two McNugget meals with two toys cost just under $10 Canadian. Let me know if you love Hello Kitty and I'll get you a toy. (Don't worry Ryan, I got you one). Posted by ed @ 4:24 AM. Wednesday, June 29, 2005. Posted by ed @ 12:10 PM. Posted by ed @ 4:59 AM. A little less zoom. With a little more vroom. Monday, October 06, 2008. The farm, not Harrison Ford). Hello everybody, I have found it hard to get internet access for my computer, so the pictures that I have taken are not uploaded yet. When I finally find a place to hook up, I'll upload and explode your senses with the awesomeness that is Australia. During the trip to the farm, I also had my first chance to do some driving. It takes some time getting used to driving on the opposite side of the road!

A little less zoom. With a little more vroom. Friday, November 28, 2008. Some things I have been up to lately:. Getting stuff for the house. Great Ocean Road Trip (great before-and-after for Wheel of Fortune). Taking trips to Bunnings (the Home Depot of Australia, it's so good). Living without: central heating, a clothes dryer (hang clothes outside), a rice cooker, a closet, clean underwear (just kidding). Cooking on a gas stove. Driving ma new whip. To learn Keanu's and Swayze's moves. I like your blog.

http://6speed.blogspot.com/2008/09/australia.html
A little less zoom. With a little more vroom. Thursday, September 25, 2008. This is the revival of my blog and let's start with the first post of me in Australia! A little background is that this is the first time I've lived away from home for an extended period of time. Very exciting stuff and it's a fairly big move! We thought Air Canada had folded! I made it on and it was all good. Phew, close one! I had my Shure SCL2. Earphones and they were absolutely awesome. They blocked out a lot of the plane...

this routine riot: school...again
http://6speed.blogspot.com/2008/10/schoolagain.html
A little less zoom. With a little more vroom. Saturday, October 25, 2008. This past Friday, I worked my first day of teaching ever. I signed up with this teaching agency that sets up schools with teachers and I was placed in a secondary school for a day of PE. In the morning, I drove by the school and parked on a little side street beside it. I walked in past some crazy decorations and students all dressed up in costumes. I thought it was Halloween (a week early) and I picked a great day to start! It was...

this routine riot: PI!!!! (Phillip Island)
http://6speed.blogspot.com/2008/10/pi-phillip-island.html
A little less zoom. With a little more vroom. Monday, October 06, 2008. The weekend of October 3-5 was MotoGP Phillip Island. To those who aren't into the motorbike racing, Phillip Island is probably best known for the Penguin Parade. Every night, the penguins come in from the ocean and go to sleep in their little burrows. We saw the penguins and they were so funny walking up the beach to get home. There were heaps of Asian tourists there! We saw one poop and one run and fall into a hole. It was great.

this routine riot: August 2005
http://6speed.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
A little less zoom. With a little more vroom. Wednesday, August 31, 2005. Back from Vancouver, I have a new drive to use my parents' old turntable. It's a Technics SL-Q200, but the needle is broken (I was trying to be a mix master back in the day with my Charlie Brown vinyl). With a new cartridge coming from eBay and 10 new (new to me) records for $10 to screw around with, I can't wait to get this party going. Updates to come. Posted by ed @ 12:24 PM.
