Posted in: Big Sur. My Rating: Love It. To hike 10 miles through beatiful Big Sur National forest. Camp along a river. Sit in a hot springs deep in nature and next to a river. Sykes Hot Springs is a 10 mile hike into Big Sur National forest in mid California on the coast. Big Sur is one of the most beautiful nature areas I’ve seen. As you hike through the mountains there are tons of green trees and views of the pacific ocean. When you cross the river find a big stick or something to help balance you.
