Luck of the Irish: Mother's Day
http://alkamo.blogspot.com/2015/08/mothers-day.html
Luck of the Irish. Monday, May 11, 2015. We decided the winery was more than we wanted to take on this year for Mother's Day. Instead we headed to Eagle Island with the Koenig's for our picnic and wine tasting. We brought my paddle board for it's maiden voyage and all the kids had a blast on it. My arms got quite tired paddling all the kids around, so I was quite happy when the nieces were comfortable enough to take it out themselves. And of course there was fishing. Luck of the Irish. Friday, May 29, 2015. This picture has even made it on Fish and Game's Website. Overall it was an amazing weekend and I look forward to camping at Bruneau again.just not until next year. It was already borderline too hot to be camping there! Thursday, May 28, 2015. Then there was the sand to play in. I even had a blast walking in the sand and feeling it in my hands and toes. It kind of gave me a flash back to all the dunes we playing in growing up in Maryland. Sam and Conor. Molly als...

Luck of the Irish: Molly
http://alkamo.blogspot.com/2015/06/molly.html
Luck of the Irish. Thursday, June 25, 2015. November 2014- June 2015. Molly is such a fun loving little girl and full of personality. Once she gets all ready she just gets this look of bashful smugness as she walks to me or daddy to show us her outfit. She also then likes to dance and sing in front of my long mirror. Half of the time she makes up her own song about what she has been doing, or will be doing that day. Molly keeps us on our toes, but what a joy she is. Molly loves the library and story time...

Luck of the Irish. Wednesday, August 13, 2014. Our friend Kingston has ran Run Wild at Zoo Boise and it always looked liked fun. Once I heard about it this year I had to sign Molly up. Unfortunately Kingston was spending a fun weekend with Grandma and Grandpa and did not make it this time. Our friend Miles did though and we had a great time. Hopefully next year Kingston will be back for all the action. And of course the best part of post race is the food. Thursday, August 7, 2014. I was also nauseous the...

Luck of the Irish. Saturday, December 27, 2014. Meeting Family in the NICU. December 3rd, 4th. December 3rd at 7:56 am Chris and I welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Sam Douglas, into our family. Sam was 22 inches long and weighed 7 lbs 14 ounces. I am still a little surprised I made it to my scheduled date, but it definitely had it's benefits. Molly spent the night with her cousins so Chris and I went out for a dinner date after making sure our house was clean and we were packed for the hospital. Molly was ...

Luck of the Irish: November 2014
http://alkamo.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Luck of the Irish. Sunday, November 30, 2014. After the race there was enough time to get home and shower before heading to Lynn and Kerry's for our Turkey Feast. The family was wonderful and took care of all the preparations for Chris and I. Grandma Jody also made sure to make our favorite green bean casserole and fruit salad that we (and by we I mean Chris) is usually responsible for. Luckily Dad took a few on his phone so that is the only documentation I have. Saturday, November 29, 2014. Lynn nicely ...

Luck of the Irish. Sunday, June 28, 2015. Molly's First Dance Recital. With Molly's love for dance, we decided to sign her up for classes with Dance Connection. They come to her school once a week, so that has made it very easy with my ever changing schedule. Molly loves it and her teacher, Ms. Elizabeth. She asks every day if it is dance day today at school. The theme was Under the Sea and her two songs were Jelly Fish Rock and Roll,. And Don't Wake the Whale. Friday, June 26, 2015. Once she gets all re...
