The Nuthouse: Unfrozen -- Spring in Philadelphia
http://nuttyandnuttier.blogspot.com/2014/04/unfrozen-spring-in-philadelphia.html
Thursday, April 17, 2014. Unfrozen - Spring in Philadelphia. Last weekend, I went to Philadelphia for the NCAA mens hockey tournament, otherwise known as the Frozen Four. I was supposed to go down with my friends Joe and Allison, but unfortunately they had a death in the family and were unable to make it. So, as the official ticket courier, I headed down to meet Joe's grad school friends alone. The outside was covered in tiles for multiple stories. I liked the grotto feel. So I said "Sure! I also learned...

The Nuthouse: Permaculture: The Dynamic Clock
http://nuttyandnuttier.blogspot.com/2014/10/permaculture-dynamic-clock.html
Saturday, October 04, 2014. Permaculture: The Dynamic Clock. So, I’ve taken on helping to plan next winter’s Permaculture Design Course, which has made me so busy that I haven’t had much time for blogging. But, here I am, hoping that a new post will kick my rear into gear so I can share some of my summer accomplishments with you. Finally, from the standpoint of a human being, permaculture integrates human interaction into the environment in a positive way. It shows us how to pull the pieces together ...

The Angry Moderate: August 2008

Representing the Maryland Chapter of The Radical Center. For too long, America has been trapped in a duopoly that is strangling the political landscape. As a result, the parties’ central missions are a game of oneupsmanship. This is bad for America. The party bases are hopelessly fringe and do not represent mainstream America. It’s time for the Center to stand up. Read, Discuss, Disagree, Be Heard. Tuesday, August 12, 2008. Georgia On My Mind. The question remains; what does Russia want?

The Nuthouse: Living on the Edge
http://nuttyandnuttier.blogspot.com/2014/05/living-on-edge.html
Sunday, May 25, 2014. Living on the Edge. One of the things we learned about in permaculture class was wild harvesting. I needed some borders for my garden bed, so this Saturday, my new friend (name withheld to protect the innocent) and I decided we would drive down the Turnagain Arm to harvest some wild rocks. I mean after all, why buy rocks at the store when you can get them for free in the wilderness? I didn't take any pictures on our drive, because ho-hum, same old Turnagain Arm (ha! We followed the ...

TAXING TIMES: I Will "Change the Ethics of Albany"!
http://mpeterstaxingtimes.blogspot.com/2008/03/i-will-change-ethics-of-albany.html
Dedicated to the discussion of matters historical, and current issues of a mostly military and political nature. Monday, 10 March 2008. I Will "Change the Ethics of Albany"! Princeton and Harvard University 'old boy' Eliot Spitzer has once again shown how politicians exercise hypocrisy and hubris. However, the extreme arrogance, as shown by Spitzer, demonstrates that it is always the most self-righteous that exercise the worst judgement. Spitzer has well and truly been hoisted upon his own petard!

Dedicated to the discussion of matters historical, and current issues of a mostly military and political nature. Monday, 3 March 2008. Una quinta columna" was a phrase first 'coined' by General Emilio Mola in 1936 when describing fascist sympathisers in Madrid. The subversive group worked against Republican authorities from within, and then joined the four columns of besieging Franco forces when Madrid came under attack. General who will use the highest intelligence of the army for purposes.

TAXING TIMES: March 2007

Dedicated to the discussion of matters historical, and current issues of a mostly military and political nature. Saturday, 31 March 2007. Does South Park Display American Bad Taste? In this country, it is not an uncommon perception that the Americans can be somewhat brash and tasteless. The fact that so much American 'popular entertainment' finds it's way over here, and is consumed by a voracious British public, no doubt says much more about us. Surely twice was enough! Friday, 30 March 2007. As I have a...
