Such a happy day. It was a very happy day introducing the boys to a little part of the big beautiful world that they've wanted to see. They love learning about the Ocean and all the life in it. He recently chose to participate in reflections (an art contest) at school. The theme was "the world would be a better place if." when I first told him what the theme was he said "the world's already a great place! His optimism and contentment are inspiring. After I asked if there was anything that might make our great world any better he said "if everyone obeyed their mom". We went to visit Lauren where the boys loved her Halloween decor, especially this realistic skeleton. A couple weeks before Halloween, we had a party. Owen and Lewis each invited a few friends to celebrate. The boys had a great time, and I was grateful Mally and Lauren were there to help! We had my family over for mothers day. In the wirlwind of church and dinner I didn't take a single picture. But I remembered the next week to get a couple of me and the sweet little people that call me mom. They make me happy every day. Then I think of my angel mother and the way she has sacrificed everything to raise her kids. the way she taught me all that was important and made me feel constant love and security. And sweet little Claire. Saturday, October 23, 2010. Winter is here with a vengeance, and much like almost everyone else in the state I am not happy about it. This last summer was one of the best summers of my life. Fall too.
