Transport Training Technology Ltd. Development of the qualification. We began operating in 2003 with the specific aim of promoting a national standard of training for drivers in the taxi and private hire industries. Discussions were held with Edexcel and a specification was written for the first Vocationally Related Qualification (VRQ) dedicated to the roles and responsibilities of taxi and private hire drivers.
