A blog about the lives of two nuts and their tree squirrels. Friday, September 24, 2010. Sydney and Tara are playing soccer this fall. They have already played two games each, and they both really enjoy it. Sydney is on the "Black Panthers" team. Tara is on the "Purple Rock Stars" team. We now spend three evenings a week taking the girls to soccer practices, and Saturday is game day. *I'll probably post more pictures as the season continues! Wednesday, September 15, 2010. This quilt really doesn't work with the blue! I saw this pattern in a book and really loved the fun prints and colors used to make this scrappy, bright autumn quilt. So I dug around in my stash, did a little strategic. Shopping, and pieced the top together last summer. One finished, time to start five more! Thursday, October 7, 2010.

The kids went exploring and this was the first time that Tylee went with them. It killed me to realzie that she is growing up and no longer my baby. It was such a weird feeling! Randy and I just looked at each other. Good thing his Mom was here so we had someone to talk to and so I wouldn't start bawling! We love exploring and finding new places to hike and explore!
