December 29, 2016. I recently completed my third charity carve for Clatterbridge Cancer Care – a cat bench. Complete with paw prints. Now I’m off recovering from a minor hernia operation. I will be out of commission for a few weeks in which I’m not allowed to carve anything but, speaking of commissions, I will have plenty of time to get back into sketching. If you’re interested in a pet portrait (like the one of my own dog, Poppy – pictured) then get in touch! And in the meantime, Happy New Year!

March 21, 2017. It’s been a while since I’ve posted here, but lots of things have been happening. More speed carves. More regular carvings – small, medium, and large. Custom pieces galore! There was a giraffe, a tortoise (see photo, opposite), a sculpture of some hands. There was a dining table set made out of old church pews and a play area put together from felled trees (much cheaper than spending lots on custom equipment). I even managed a day off for my birthday earlier this month! March 21, 2017.
