Thursday, January 6, 2011. When kids learn to read. And here's the mastermind behind it. Early in December Matt's school arranged for Santa to visit! Santa brought gifts for all the kids and they were all very excited to meet him (well, maybe not Ashlyn). Too bad Matt could not join us for this fun visit, as he was stuck in the hospital having his appendix removed :). Ashlyn just realized who was holding her. Monday, September 13, 2010. Since I'm trying to catch up on the blogging, I have included pictures from Andrew's and Ashlyn's birthdays in July and August. Andrew is now five years old and started kindergarten two weeks ago! Ashlyn had her FIRST birthday and started walking two days after her birthday! Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Hawkins Family Shin Digs! I really admire my mother-in-laws family. They've had a reunion every year for. like 50 years! I was really sad that my own extended family cancelled the annual reunion this year in Provo. Boooo! I tell you what, you skip for just one year, it is sooooo much harder to get them going again. I miss seeing all my cousins. Maybe each family should take turns planning? Oh, who knows how to keep these things going? We didn't want to leave! Here we go again!

THE NELSONS , JEFF , JULIE , KESLIE AND COLE. Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Jeff and i got to spend the weekend up at Bear lake - a first for both of us! We had a blast! We havent been together this long since our honeymoon! Crazy it will be 2 yrs next month! We were very lucky to have been able to stay in this beautiful cabin in harbor village right by the marina and downtown GARDEN CITY. We had fun just resting , eating pizza and hamburgers and good old RASBERRY SHAKES! Im so glad I found your blog!

THE NELSONS , JEFF , JULIE , KESLIE AND COLE. Sunday, October 31, 2010. Witches nt out scary! Me and some friends from the salon went to gardner village for witches nite out. WE had a blast just walking around taking photos , and hanging out! Oh cole he just had to eat the soap , but not to bad he wanted to keep eating it! The tounge photo is the face he has had all the time lately lol , he has finally cut 2 more teeth! He was so funny out there and he just love the "ouusii"(outside in cole language).

Saturday, November 22, 2014. A Birthday for Bevan! I felt bad that Bevan's birthday was on a Monday this year. He had to work. There's too much to do to get the ski resort ready to open to spare anyone! I had the best intentions to make him breakfast! But that didn't happen. I asked, as he was grumpily walking out the door, what kind of cake he wanted. He said oreo ice cream cake. Okay! I would NOT let him down. We probably could've skipped Halloween this year and spent and extra day or two in Kanab....

We put up skirting around the porch and painted it, it used to be maroon like the family room was. YUCK! Now it is so pretty. Here is an angle shot of the porch. I loved this porch it was HUGE! It took me forever to paint, but it was so worth it by the way it looks now. Here is the finished bathroom tub/shower combo, nice and open. View from in the bathtub. Same room before we finished it.
