North Sylamore Creek – trekkermom

https://trekkermom.wordpress.com/2015/08/12/north-sylamore-creek

Fall in Love with Arkansas (and the rest of the World) one step at a time! August 12, 2015. September 30, 2016. A few years ago, on the drive back from a fishing trip, Kurt made a stop at the Barkshed Recreation Area on Sylamore Creek. With careful attention, he captured a fantastic shot of the water spilling over the dam. There was no doubt in my mind that the family needed to visit this area. Waterfalls at Sylamore Creek. The City at Night – trekkermom

Fall in Love with Arkansas (and the rest of the World) one step at a time! The City at Night. August 13, 2015. August 4, 2016. There’s something cool about walking in the city at night. The day is completely hushed, with the exception of patter of our feet. The illumination of the lights provides a warm glow as we proceed on. Passing two lovers saying goodbye. Voices unnoticeable are now heard in high def! Roller skaters take advantage of the empty streets, whooshing by us. It cools me on this summer day.

Adopting a Pound Puppy – trekkermom

Fall in Love with Arkansas (and the rest of the World) one step at a time! Adopting a Pound Puppy. August 14, 2015. August 18, 2015. My daughter, Sabrina, has always been a dog lover. From day one, she was always petting, holding or playing with our then elderly dog. “Be careful! 8221; we would caution, knowing that our old, cantankerous dachshund didn’t always appreciate amorous children, and, was known, in fact, to nip at little hands as a warning to stop immediately. So near the eve of her birthday, w...

Exposing The Cerebrally Enclosed

Exposing The Cerebrally Enclosed. Friday, April 29, 2011. Deja Entendu, by Brand New. This album. Goodness gracious, I've probably listened to it all the way through at least 30 times. Maybe even 40! Each of Brand New's four releases are different from each other - it's not like A Day to Remember where every album (and song! Sound same and show no signs of progression. Oh no. Deja. Their sophomore release, differs significantly from the angst-ridden pop punk of Your Favorite Weapon. All in all, Deja.

Don’t Sit On the Grass. Wednesday, 30 July 2008. 8220;A little sun, a little refreshment, and a good conversation – what more does the human need? 8221; rhetorized a friend, “but we can’t sit on the grass, it’s forbidden”. It was a typical summer Sunday and we were waiting to cross the street, observing people in a nearby park. Can’t sit on the grass? Well, that’s ridiculous I say. What’s it going to do – cry about it? It would make the rest of us much happier than if we couldn’t sit on the grass. 80% of...
