Sept 2011 - While enjoying a romantic dinner at the Kilauea Lodge on the Big Island of Hawaii, our 31st park visit, my wife Terry and I set about modifying a “bucket list” goal of visiting 40 National Parks by Dec 2012. We were well ahead of schedule. The modification – Visit all 59 National Parks by May 8, 2017! We took shipment of the first edition of Trekking on December 3, 2014 and have since shipped out over 1400 copies!
