http://www.nexttograce.com/2014/11/my-little-pumpkin-shower.html
Tuesday, November 4, 2014. My Little Pumpkin Shower. I have the most caring people to call my best friends. Ashley. Offered to throw me a baby shower back in August and knowing my love for fall, they decided on an adorable pumpkin theme for our October celebration. We had the shower at my house which actually worked out amazingly. Ashley and Chelsea drove into town on Friday and set up for the shower on Saturday morning. I love having friends visit and staying up way too late catching up! Then there are ...

Next to Grace: Kristen's Bridal Shower
http://www.nexttograce.com/2014/11/kristens-bridal-shower.html
Monday, November 3, 2014. Way back in June after our big trip and before Kristen's wedding, I hosted a bachelorette weekend extravaganza for Kristen and her bridesmaids. It was a relaxing weekend celebrating Kristen, swimming, and of course eating. Saturday morning was her shower where we showered (duh) her with unmentionables perfect for the honeymoon. I wanted to keep this brunch simple and sweet: just Kristen's style. What ever bride dreams of: her fiancé on a popsicle stick! Kristen and her hostesses.

Next to Grace: Halloween, Helicopters, and Hovering
http://www.nexttograce.com/2014/11/halloween-helicopters-and-hovering.html
Friday, November 7, 2014. Halloween, Helicopters, and Hovering. Growing up, Halloween was not a big deal at my house. We would dress up and get candy around the neighborhood, but that was it. No scary decorations or any of that nonsense. I never really cared about costumes either since I scare easily and I was more concerned about my candy stash. Carter as Napoleon Dynamite. The hair is real. It's just too perfect. And then we have our couple's costume. I usually don't dress up or really even like to...

http://ratliffreflections.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 15, 2012. Rhyder Josiah Ratliff 11/13/12. I have been avoiding hopping onto blogspot to write this blog because its been about 10 weeks since I last visited, and so much has happened in 10 weeks that I'm not sure I can do it justice without writing a novel.and I'm bad about being too lengthy anyways so settle in because I'm guessing this will be a long one. The induction began at 6ish am and I contracted through the day and we finally got ready to go mid afternoon. He got to stay with ...

Cherise's Creative Energy: July 2013
http://ratliffreflections.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 31, 2013. 2nd Half of July. So proud to be a Texan! There was way more to do and read than we expected like this Civil War Memorial.the quarter and dime we put in the parking meter for a whole 21 minutes wasn't enough! Beautiful rotunda looking straight up in the entrance to the capital building. Focusing on the Lone Star! The House of Representatives Chamber.I was imagining a room full of rowdy and passionate people in lieu of the recent SB5 abortion bill. Saturday morning, we slept late!

Wednesday, June 26, 2013. Cherise's Heart on Abortion. In today's culture, there is so much differences of opinion about different political issues including welfare, insurance, taxes, immigration, gay rights, the economy, government involvement, etc. .and sadly, abortion. However, abortion is one I just don't get. What blows my mind. Is that the same country who was horrifically rocked and DEVASTATED. HOW DO WE AS AMERICA NOT SEE THAT! We were sickened and our country turned upside down by the horror of...

Cherise's Creative Energy: October 2013
http://ratliffreflections.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Meg Was, God Is. Muldoon Baptist Church is everything a rural community church brings to mind. Friendly folks. Gravel road parking. Wooden pews. Whitewashed exterior. But for my cousin and her husband and kids, Muldoon Community Church is so much more. The support and love and heartbreak and prayers and faith were seeping from that place - love covered all. It will revolutionize your heart and challenge your thoughts about death and tragedy when it includes the Lord's people.
