The Yacht: November 2009
http://longpointskiff.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 1, 2009. Ah yes. the steering gear bought for short monies on good old e-bay. Here we have some fine joinery. Sitting tall and proud the new console will allow me to control the boat and see over the bow at the same time. Such luxury! This seat will be notched to accept the console and will give me more space to move about behind it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Look at this cool guy. The Yacht: June 2009
http://longpointskiff.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 12, 2009. Also, while I had everything out of the boat I put the finishing touches on the breasthook and the quarter knees. Shout out to Marky Heron for letting me use his shop to clean up my gnarly band sawyering. So last weekend I really got back into it and kicked a bit off ass in the shop. Saturday; did some cleanup and made this sweet little bugger. It was real easy to put together and now the tablesaw glides around like its on a buttered floor. So Sweet. Whats the hold up?

Sunday, April 12, 2009. A few more old photos. Here is the aft bottom panel ready for a dry fit. The first layer of the bottom being attached to the sides. When I started installing the bottom's second layer i got a bit lazy and put a pattern cutter in the biggest router that i had (3hp) and just went crazy. I made a lot of dust but it only took a couple of min. and worked perfectly. . Here we are sticking the two layers of bottom together. . Saturday, April 11, 2009. Thursday, April 9, 2009. It will look even better with that outboard on the back. This picture looks a lot nicer the right way up. August 27, 2009 at 9:47 AM. I cant wait to see this thing in the water man. Crazy Awesome. It still needs a name man! August 28, 2009 at 10:53 PM. You built a masterpiece so now the devil has to pay your rent, right?
