Thursday, May 28, 2015. We love to wear green and eat green food on St. Patrick's Day. The leprechaun made some green milk for us. The girls loved using the green milk with their cereal and Brynlee liked drinking it (with a green lid of course). Cougar wouldn't get near the green milk. I've been thinking a lot about being positive lately, particularly when it comes to parenting Jaxson. The last couple of months I've used phrases like, "stop whining" "when we're done playing you won't throw a tantrum right? Don't do that" "why are you acting like this? But let's not whine about this." And then he kept whining. I'd start counting and then even send him to time out. And then I was just frustrated. "I was so positive why did he throw a tantrum like this? It was a break through for us.

Six years ago today Landon asked me to marry him! I don't know what he was thinking. I'm sure glad he did though. St Louis General Surgery. The title pretty much sums it up. General surgery was hard and Landon didn't love it. Neither did I. But it's over now. Phew! We spent our weekend just the two of us in St. Louis. I needed it so badly, and Landon needed it even more. He's been working around the clock non stop for far too long.
