Shawn's Blog: Week 6
http://shawnsblogblog.blogspot.com/2011/07/week-6.html
Wednesday, July 6, 2011. I wasn't able to water the garden much because I was in Washington D.C. The corn is looking really good, unfortunately the weeds are too. The pea's are a lost cause, so I'm just hopeful for whatever comes. The potatoes look a little strange, but they're coming along. Maybe the tomatoes will lend them some strength. Oh, and I had to weed again this week. Didn't I weed last week? Posted by Shawn Hoth. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tiffany and Daves Blog.

Shawn's Blog: Week 9 (July 30)
http://shawnsblogblog.blogspot.com/2011/08/week-9-july-30.html
Tuesday, August 9, 2011. Week 9 (July 30). After a week in Star Valley with the family, I came back to the garden looking like this! Terry Boyle watered it while I was in Wyoming and it appears as though he did an excellent job. The extensions for the sprinklers were a very good idea, because as you can see they are nearly covered by the corn. Today I also fertilized again with an organic fertilizer called Blood Food. Apparently it's high in nitrogen. Posted by Shawn Hoth. Tiffany and Daves Blog.

Shawn's Blog: Week 5
http://shawnsblogblog.blogspot.com/2011/06/week-5_28.html
Tuesday, June 28, 2011. I weeded it this week for the first time. I fertalized with nitrogen as well. However it was a 12-4-4 mixture which is better for fruit trees. The person at J&L Garden said it was what I needed. I'm skeptical. The potatoes look like they're going to spotty just like the peas, but they seem to have survived the slugs. The tomatoes are totally dominating Mom and Dad's. Posted by Shawn Hoth. June 28, 2011 at 10:42 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tiffany and Daves Blog.

Shawn's Blog: Week 7
http://shawnsblogblog.blogspot.com/2011/07/week-7.html
Saturday, July 16, 2011. The corn is thriving. The tomatoes are 5 times the size of Mom and Dad's garden, haha.the power of sunshine! The peas taste awesome, even though I was a little confused by the looks of the Sugar Snap peas. It looks like each pea was vacuum packed into the pod. This week's pictures were taken by my weak camera phone (no offense Scott) so they may be a little grainy. Posted by Shawn Hoth. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tiffany and Daves Blog.

Shawn's Blog: Week 4
http://shawnsblogblog.blogspot.com/2011/06/week-5.html
Wednesday, June 22, 2011. The potatoes peeked their heads this week but are getting eaten by slugs. The peas look like an old man's comb over. The corn was thinned to two stalks per spot this week. Shawn's Blog: Week 8
http://shawnsblogblog.blogspot.com/2011/07/week-8.html
Thursday, July 21, 2011. The tomatoes are looking good and there are a couple ripe cherry tomatoes. The peas have nearly given their last harvest and will need to be pulled out of the ground this week or next. As you may notice the corn is getting taller (that's what happens when things grow), and the sprinklers were completely covered thus not allowing the sprayage (is that a word? Posted by Shawn Hoth. Shawn's Blog: November 2007
http://shawnsblogblog.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 20, 2007. We were in Hawaii and having a hard time leaving because we were using a "Buddy Pass" for the airline ticket, bad idea in August. Anyways, there was a chance that we would only be able to get one ticket instead of the two that we both needed to get off the island. So we flipped a coin to see who would go first. Shawn's Blog: August 2008

Sunday, August 31, 2008. Looking up the snowfield and into Emerald Lake. The lake was bone chilling! Well, I was using my camera phone so it's not the best, but here's the sunrise from the summit of Mount Timpanogos. Looking down from the summit to Emerald Lake and a snow field. Looking up to the summit from Emerald Lake. Dave Sessions at the top of Mount Timpanogos. I'm at the top of Mount Timpanogos. 11,750 feet! We climbed it starting at 1:30 AM so that we could see the sunrise. It was awesome!
