One step at a time...: August 2009
http://taciturn1.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
One step at a time. Saturday, August 29, 2009. A liberal believed in social justice for the poor, immigrants and other marginalized groups, and believed government had a role in protecting them and ensuring their opportunities. Limited but good definition of liberalism. Thursday, August 6, 2009. A limit of time is fixed for thee, which if thou dost not use for clearing the clouds from thy mind, it will go and thou wilt go, and it will never return. -Marcus Aurelius. One step at a time...: December 2010
http://taciturn1.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
One step at a time. Friday, December 24, 2010. Maybe I'm just being selfish but I'm really not into this whole Christmas thing. It's really just a reason to spend crazy money on stuff people don't really need. I just want to go sit somewhere and read a few good books. Dating is not the same as choosing to marry and procreate and then being like "heeeey, this dude explodes into rooms, I need to destroy all my commitments to be with him! One step at a time. Thursday, December 31, 2009. I loved what this guy is saying. He's right on point! But if you remain open, you can circle back around and rediscover yourself in new and fascinating recombinations, as each generation comes forth, bearing startling new gifts. It's a simple truth, recast in a million variations: The delights and epiphanies, the loves and the gods, the deepenings and the awakenings? They find you when you are ready. And of course, vice-versa.". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

One step at a time...: July 2010
http://taciturn1.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
One step at a time. Friday, July 16, 2010. When I first heard about this event, I thought, hmmm, that’s a weird name. Alleghany Gran Fondo. I knew what Alleghany meant but who the heck is Fondo? Also run down into the woods. I’m sure there is some cosmic significance to this which is so far completely lost on me. I finally made it to the top and I’m not ashamed to say that I walked part of it. I also note that noone passed me while I was walking. :-). Were real or were just figments of my imagination.

http://taciturn1.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
One step at a time. Thursday, January 13, 2011. Just listening to the radio yesterday. I heard this. A letter from a 14 year old. Called herself ugly and I'd have to come in and tell her she's not ugly, she's beautiful. A beautiful woman. And sometimes she'd cry and I'd have to cry with her.". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). One step at a time. Tuesday, February 17, 2009. I wanna be Ray-Ban dude when I grow up. Monday, February 9, 2009. It's so great to be out there riding my bike. Especially with a decent sized group. The last 2 Sundays I've ridden with the group out of Final Kick, 42 miles through Virginia Beach. Always funny to me how they say *social* pace. Social pace for who? Here's the map of Sunday's ride. One step at a time...: Timberman 2010
http://taciturn1.blogspot.com/2010/09/timberman-2010.html
One step at a time. Monday, September 13, 2010. Timberman(Gilford, Tilton, Laconia? So with two months between Eman and Tman, I hired a coach(Denise Wood - Redhammerracing.com). All that futility at previous races was actually not totally a bad thing. It all got me to the point of understanding that I needed help and to the point of actually listening to that help. Swim time: 46:55. Slow but well under the swim cutoff time. The wetsuit strippers probably saved me at least a minute. Also, cant forget my p...
