Featured Designer: Margaret Willingham. Getting ready for Spring Quilt Market, we get to work with a lot of Project Designers that inspire us with what they do with our fabrics. I'd like for you to get to know them a bit, mention them to your favorite quilt shop or ask them to teach at your guild. Taken from her website,. As I create these pattern designs for you to make, I get to play with pattern, color and texture, making something beautiful to enliven my world and express love to those around me....

Occasional ramblings of a quilter, pattern designer, wife, mother, sister, friend. Saturday, January 17, 2015. Studio Spotlight Blog Hop. Welcome to my Quilt Studio! I read somewhere that it is rude to clean your house before your friends come over, because it leaves a false impression- you don’t really live like that! So, welcome, friends, and see how my sewing “hobby” and year-old Triangle Frenzy business has grown to take over half of my house. This is my sewing room, er, Quilt Studio. One wall of my ...

Speaking of insects . . . if they creep you out, stop reading immediately. This morning I was in the backyard with Emma and my camera as I often am. Later, when I started up the porch steps, this is what I nearly stepped on. It didn't seem interested in flying off, and I just kept shooting. What would you have done? Crazy Emma ...

Occasional ramblings of a quilter, pattern designer, wife, mother, sister, friend. Thursday, November 13, 2014. Here I am staring at a blank page, wondering what I could say that would be interesting to anyone else. I have been told by several people that they enjoy sitting next to me when we sew, because they learn so much when I talk to myself. Another friend said "Well, if several of us say the same thing then it must be true! Hopefully this is the good stuff. Thank you for listening.

Triangle Frenzy®: Blog hop?
https://trianglefrenzy.blogspot.com/2015/01/hello-all.html
Occasional ramblings of a quilter, pattern designer, wife, mother, sister, friend. Monday, January 12, 2015. My fellow designers are encouraging me to start a blog. If you know me, you know that first I had to learn what "blog" actually meant:. Blog, short for Web log - a regularly updated website or web page . . . that is written in an informal or conversational style. Once a month is regularly updated, right? Then send a child off to college, and presto! 16 January, 2015 08:16. Hows the flooring coming?

Occasional ramblings of a quilter, pattern designer, wife, mother, sister, friend. Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Are you ready for Christmas? As quilters, we usually can't wait until the holiday season to start our holiday projects. Whether it's gifts or decorations, I feel a bit out-of-sync stitching the Christmas tree wall hanging in July. I just can't seem to get in the Christmas spirit stitching angel ornaments in September. Ready or not, here it comes. I do have a wreath on the front door.

Quilt Patterns and Designs. Art Prize: a Bit of the Quilting Side. On Saturday I met my daughter and her boyfriend in Grand Rapids so that we could explore some of the Art Prize entries around the city center (approximately 3 miles). At the same venue (a bank) was MISSION PENINSULA BARNS. INDIGO GEMS of ARGUS. Was also at this venue. This quilt was made...
