Deborah King : February 2012
http://deborahsstudio.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 10, 2012. Crystal and glass are beautiful when painted right. For some of us it just doesn't "click" and we tend to over paint. One of the draw backs of being a self taught artist, some times you just can't figure it out. For me that is difficult to admit, so I avoided anything with crystal and glass. After some coaxing and the opportunity to view a set of videos made by Mollie Jones during a gathering of Painting Friends. You're right Mollie, I'm hooked! Links to this post. I follow my ...

Deborah King : Back To Painting!
http://deborahsstudio.blogspot.com/2011/09/back-to-painting.html
Friday, September 23, 2011. Sometimes life just gets in the way of creativity, so I've been away for a little while. Long story short, I lost my painting space for a short time. Although the definition of short comes into question when it comes to creativity. My painting space is back and it's time to create. I used the time to fight frustration and search for inspiration. Won't give away the places I visited, you will have to wait for the paintings! September 24, 2011 at 5:00 AM. View my complete profile.

Deborah King : September 2010
http://deborahsstudio.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 16, 2010. Changing direction, Changing Size. I've worked with a variety of mediums over the years in the smaller sizes, It just seemed to come natural. So I began to think of what advice I could give her to ease her frustrations. Working in outside of your comfort zone can block the creative process and become as frustrating as wanting to do something and not knowing how or where to start. Links to this post. http://deborahsstudio.blogspot.com/2011/10/through-fog.html
Monday, October 17, 2011. Watercolor has become an interesting journey. Full of interesting challenges in subject, technique and simply learning how to manage the paint and water. I feel fortunate to have been invited to joined Painting Friends Forum (http:/ paintingfriends.com/forums/index.php) in September of 2010. The Challenges and WIP’s (Work In Progress) postings and positive feedback have been a great inspiration. October 20, 2011 at 1:22 AM. Your work has grown in leaps and bounds!
