Running From Myself: February 2010
http://runningfrommyc25k.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
My journey to a fit and healthy me. Saturday, February 27, 2010. Fat Boy 5K - Fun Run! This is definitely one of my favorite runs of the year. Not because of the donuts, brats, and beer after the race. . . but because they actually take time off my total for my giant ass! They take off a second per pound. For me that equaled 3 whole minutes and 28 seconds! And I almost forgot. The T-shirt is hilarious! Who wouldn't wanna run with a giant beer gut Elvis on a T! Race Results: 39:33 (my real time 43:01).

Running From Myself: January 2010
http://runningfrommyc25k.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
My journey to a fit and healthy me. Monday, January 18, 2010. I signed myself up for Weight Watchers and lost 1.6 pounds this week! I am liking their newer program using "filling foods" (which is basically the old core/flex plan combined). At my meeting someone plugged Egg Mugs from HungryGirl.com. Sounded like an interesting quick and easy breakfast (or snacktime) meal so I gave it a try and YUM! I tried the Pizza Egg Mug but want to try the spinach and feta one next week. . . Saturday, January 16, 2010.

Running From Myself: July 2009
http://runningfrommyc25k.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
My journey to a fit and healthy me. Tuesday, July 7, 2009. What sadistic person created the bicycle seat? It still feels like it is crammed up my tush 12 hours later! I have decided to give "cleansing" a try. I have heard so many people talk about all the health benefits from cleansing. But man. My head is throbbing right now! And I have only been drinking the "lemonade" for 10 hours. How will I ever last 10 days? Hope it is worth it! I have only had to run to the potty twice so far. So I did it! Las Veg...

I completed the Disney Half Marathon in September in under my goal time by 3 minutes.woohooo. It was awesome! Unfortunately, I lost my momentum after the race. http://runningfrommyc25k.blogspot.com/2011/06/dont-be-fred.html
My journey to a fit and healthy me. Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Don't be a FRED! Totally unknown to me was this term "Fred". The name elites call us beginners when we do such things as leave our reflectors on, cover ourselves in chain grease, etc. So my girlfriend and I headed out at 4am to volunteer and watch said pros at the Rage Triathlon. At Lake Mead. Our goal: learn how to transition correctly (aka: not be a FRED). It was amazing to watch what fast. I guess I will be a FRED for a while yet! The Transf...
