Places that I have gotten help. Interesting sites and info. Here are a few websites that I use quite often. Also there's a book that I found some cute patterns in. Lionbrand Yarn:They sell great yarn and there are plenty of free patterns that you can get from their site. Pattern for the first baby blanket that I made. Dr Who scarf pattern, yarn colors, and hints.Just in case you want to make one yourself. The Knit Stitch (The Knitting Experience, Book 1):A great book with many cute patterns.

Interesting sites and info. I ordered this pattern to make a purse out of Lionbrand Jiffy Thick and Quick and Fun Fur. It's going to be interesting. Above you see the colors that I chose.
Blankets that I've done

Interesting sites and info. This is the first blanket that I did for my neice. I finished knitting it already, but I didn't take a picture of it before I gave it to her. I made this blanket with worsted weigh yarn and a size us10 knitting needle. This made a lighter blanket which would be good to use in the summer. So here it is, my finished blanket. Here's my nephew, Peter, showing off the blanket that I knitted him.

Projects that I have in mind. Interesting sites and info. For my next project I have to make a new scarf for my son (since he lost his in the supermarket last winter). That shouldn't be to bad. (I'm working on this now). After that, I'm going to make a multi-colored scarf for myself. I already have all of the yarn, so I guess I should get my butt in gear and make it. After that, I'm going to make a Dr. Who scarf for my husband. That should be interesting. After that.who knows.

Interesting sites and info. Modeled by my handsome son Joe. Here is the first thing I ever made. I'll be the first to admit that it looked weird. But that's the great thing about scarfs, they can look weird and it's ok. I made this scarf with Lionbrand Chunky USA yarn in Denim(yes I like Lionbrand yarn, but I will be using other brands in the future)and size us11 needles. This all came in a kit, which was how I learned to knit.
