Why Iron?
http://whyiron.livejournal.com/tag/tt
If Iron is the answer, it must have been a very silly question. If I could live anywhere, absolutely anywhere? It would be inside a Corona commercial. Bike TT - my "before picture". Swim TT; dominating the 5 x 50 doggy paddle relay. Re: Swim TT IV. Then a 100 TT to finish. 24 September 2008 @ 09:19 pm. Yesterday/Tuesday) The final RunFar TT of the season. I'd kinda hoped to run into Aussie Geoff at the muster, but didn't see him. Did run into. So, two laps/loops as:. 803 miles, 23.2 mph. Yes, it was a PR...

Alzheimer's Antidote - mutterings
http://filleardente.livejournal.com/44095.html
Sanctuary Amidst the Silicon. One Day. . . I just set up an evernote. Account. I'm excited about the concept and just maybe, in addition to remembering everything for me, learning how it works and what it does will grow me some new brain cells! S's tv program in the background. 6/2/09 05:56 pm (UTC). I'd be interested in how you get on, I'd given it a thought but have not had the time to spend to look at it. Powered by LiveJournal.com.

Jacqui's Journey: Grieving
http://jacquiaubert.blogspot.com/2015/04/grieving.html
Friday, April 10, 2015. I'm a pretty lucky girl. I haven't experienced much loss in my life with the exception of my three grandparents (all of whom I was lucky to have in my life for over 20 years! I know friends and family who have had many loved ones pass too early, so I consider myself fairly lucky in terms of losses in my life. When a person experiences loss and are grieving, they go through stages. There are five stages of grief, according to psychologists. Who is to blame? All I wanna do is sit on...

Clydesdales have big...bikes: February 2010
http://clydesdaleshavebigbikes.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 11, 2010. Echo, echo, echo. Sorry gang - been doing too much Facebook (is that really possible? And not enough blogging - but isn't that the going trend? I've been getting slammed with Anonymous spam to my comments, so I'm going to take away the ability for Anon folks to comment, and require the word box. Sorry, I've fought that for a while, but it's getting noticeable in my comment sections. Thursday, February 11, 2010. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 15k Bike Time Tri...

Clydesdales have big...bikes: July 2010
http://clydesdaleshavebigbikes.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 29, 2010. Eye on the Prize. I'm back in the saddle again. It's great to be back, actually. It's funny how much you forget when you've been gone from training so long. All the laundry, for one. running shorts and shirts, socks, biking pants - the hamper fills up fast these days! So now there's an Ironman in Houston. Who'd a thunk it? IM Arizona '10 now has it's challenges - like the swim venue springing a leak. Everything I read tells me that it's doubtful that Tempe Town Lake will be f...

Clydesdales have big...bikes: Progress Report
http://clydesdaleshavebigbikes.blogspot.com/2010/09/progress-report.html
Thursday, September 30, 2010. So we know I'm having fun again. I'm not sure if today's workout was fun, well, parts of it is. I keep hearing young Ricky Bobby saying over and over, "I wanna go fast, I wanna go fast". Today we went fast for 1 mile intervals. It's fun to hit 24mph, even if only for 3/4 a mile. 2 hours worth of intervals. Nice. Heart Rate over 10 intervals. Thursday, September 30, 2010. Oct 1, 2010, 6:28:00 PM. Clydesdales have big...bikes: Iron Horse 2012
http://clydesdaleshavebigbikes.blogspot.com/2012/02/iron-horse-2012.html
Monday, February 20, 2012. I'm not sure who talked me into this thing called "Ultra Running". Baboo? I'll blame you all. Di and took off from Tampa to head to Palatka, FL to run the 4th or 5th running of the Iron Horse Ultra. I'd signed up for the 100k - my first Ultra ever - after Jen said, rather convincingly, "you've done an Ironman, you can do an Ultra". Hmph. Fortunately, I guess, the food tasted so bad that we didn't eat enough to be sick the next day. What did I learn? Especially with as much Heed...

http://clydesdaleshavebigbikes.blogspot.com/2011/01/2011-is-here.html
Sunday, January 09, 2011. Wow - it's been since October since I wrote last. Sorry, my one remaining reader. All I can say, is that the Bigun is back! I'm actually signed up for an Ironman race this year, and an early season "A race". I'm running, and getting ready for a half marathon in 2 months. Life is a lot better this year. So for 2011, if I can get this straight:. Gasparilla Half Marathon, Febuary 27. Gator Half Iron Tri, March. Strawberry Century, March 27. S t Anthony's Olympic Tri, May 1. Of cour...

Clydesdales have big...bikes: Flatwoods Bike-Run #1
http://clydesdaleshavebigbikes.blogspot.com/2010/10/flatwoods-bike-run-1.html
Tuesday, October 19, 2010. Anyway - the e-mail worked like a charm, and a couple of the guys, now, were much more emotionally involved than they were in the days and weeks prior. We done had ourselves a race! We must have all eaten our Wheaties this morning, because at 4 miles we were averaging 21.5mph, which I knew was much faster than I had the heartbeats for! Alas, poor Lee - his final effort left him pulling up with a blown hammie. But he did beat Markle in. Sean and Chris were both out on th...I hel...
