Tri Mommy: Off day!

http://trimommy.blogspot.com/2005/02/off-day.html

Friday, February 25, 2005. Off day, off day, yeah yeah YEAH! Posted by Brynne @ 9:58 AM. I'm Brynne, a 26-year-old stay at home mom. Want to see what else I do besides triathlon? An excuse and a recovery.

Tri Mommy: An excuse and a recovery

http://trimommy.blogspot.com/2005/02/excuse-and-recovery.html

Thursday, February 24, 2005. An excuse and a recovery. I somehow managed to stab myself with a knitting needle. Really. It's over at my knit blog. I was planning to ride my trainer this morning, but that workout is just plain getting skipped. Instead I did the first swim workout called for in my plan, a whole 200 yards. But I'm a really bad swimmer and I did my 200 yards at about 2:30/100 yard pace. There's always room for improvement, right? Workout: Swim 200 yards. Time: 8:03 w/ rests.

Tri Mommy: Real running vs. fake running

http://trimommy.blogspot.com/2005/03/real-running-vs-fake-running.html

Thursday, March 17, 2005. Real running vs. fake running. I ran outside, on (little) hills, in the wind, pushing John's stroller. Ouch. This was much harder than running on the flat track inside the warm rec center. I guess I should get used to it until they start doing indoor races, huh? Run: 30 minutes with 8 minutes running. Posted by Brynne @ 6:50 AM. That is good. Thanks for sharing it! More power to you and have a happy run always! Thats good for you. Good luck! For real this time.

Tri Mommy: February 2005

http://trimommy.blogspot.com/2005_02_01_archive.html

Sunday, February 27, 2005. I never used to have a problem registering for races. I once had a race director come up to me at a triathlon in New Jersey and ask me why. Yeah Race day registration isn't an option for tris out here - they fill up so fast. So I'm still planning to do a lot of swimming and cycling, but I'm changing my goals to running races. To spur me on in my training, my husband. Posted by Brynne @ 8:04 PM. Friday, February 25, 2005. Off day, off day, yeah yeah YEAH! An excuse and a recovery.

Black Toes: On the seventh day I rested...

http://bugdozer.blogspot.com/2005/03/on-seventh-day-i-rested.html

Trail running, running, and hiking in Colorado's Front Range. Monday, March 07, 2005. On the seventh day I rested. Today was a rest day (finally! In looking back at the past week, I think I went out to fast on Saturday's run and ended up paying for it yesterday. I did a little 5 mile recovery walk with the family today (actually, I walked while Brynne ran whilst I pushed the stroller). Plus, we got money back. From the IRS (not like past years.). And all is well with the world. I just need to get a c...

Black Toes: Slack ass..

http://bugdozer.blogspot.com/2005/03/slack-ass.html

Trail running, running, and hiking in Colorado's Front Range. Wednesday, March 16, 2005. With respect to running, that is. Today was crazy - I wrote a visualization program to do some analysis of my weather output, went to another on-site job interview (for a defense job in Boulder), and then followed that all up with a 2.5 hour meeting with my advisors at NCAR. Has been a real. Luckily I can work from home tomorrow, so I'll be able to head out for a run - maybe even a trail run. Awww the little booogers.

Black Toes: Saturday!

http://bugdozer.blogspot.com/2005/03/saturday.html

Trail running, running, and hiking in Colorado's Front Range. Saturday, March 12, 2005. I went for a morning group run at the local running store. It was pretty fun, but few people showed up because there is a largish race going on here in Denver. We ended up doing about 3.3 miles at 9:41/mi, which was fine, because it was super easy! Formations being caused by the mountains. Here's one caused by Lookout Mountain and Mt. Zion:. Here's another one caused by some of the foothills between here and Boulder.

Here's a scarf I made out of my wonderful graduation present yarn from my mother-in-law. The pattern is from Weekend Knitting and I used Waterspun. I think Waterspun is my new yarn addiction. Posted by Brynne @ 9:23 PM. Today marks four years of Brynne and Christian as well as 6 weeks to go until John Francis! Posted by Brynne @ 3:37 PM. Knitlet: Sockapalooza, yeah!

http://knit.blogspot.com/2005/03/sockapalooza-yeah.html

Last night was the awesome as ever Littleton Knitting Meetup. I have never been to such a big knitting group and I met tons of new people. I became a Rowan enabler with the ever-popular Rowan 37. I finished my Sockapalooza socks there, too. Knitting on the Road. Lang Jawool, Denim. Metal dpn, 2 mm (US 0). I also finished up a cap for the Dulaan Project. From left to right, top to bottom:. 1) Acrylic cabled hat from Knit It! 2) Kool-Aid dyed wool plain hat. I've also been tagged for two memes (hooray!

Knitlet: Sockapalooza Part II

http://knit.blogspot.com/2005/03/sockapalooza-part-ii.html

My socks arrived today! They're from Kathy, who doesn't have a blog. These socks are so gorgeous that they definitely deserve some blog action. The box arrived packed with extra yarn just to fill the box and a package tied with a hint of the colors I'd find inside. Here are the beautiful socks! I put them on my feet roughly three seconds after the other picture was taken. They fit perfectly! Thanks again, Kathy, and thanks to Alison. Posted by Brynne @ 12:45 PM. I'm so glad you like them! Knitlet: On the Go Comfort Throw

http://knit.blogspot.com/1999/07/on-go-comfort-throw.html

On the Go Comfort Throw. This is the entire collection from Amy Butler's On the Go Comfort Throw. Pattern. I liked the Classic Winnie the Pooh fabric and the recipient likes classic Piglet. It's for her, but it could also be used for her baby. Everything fits in this case. In the main compartment, there's a quilted throw. I know it doesn't ever get cold enough in Mississippi to need a throw, but it should come in handy for sitting on. This is the closest I got to a full picture of the quilt. Just Off the...

Trail running, running, and hiking in Colorado's Front Range. Wednesday, March 09, 2005. Pretty toes, pretty black toes, pretty toes to eat = porn? I took a look at the referals to this blog. I had high hopes that most of my links were due to. A) The St. Blogs parish (a grouping of Catholic blogs). B) other running blogs in the RBF. Wrong Apparently, it seems that many of my hits are due to people looking for pretty toes, pretty black toes, or pretty toes to eat. Posted by bugdozer @ 9:50 PM. My site is ...

Trail running, running, and hiking in Colorado's Front Range. Monday, March 14, 2005. Sorry for being a slacker but. I've been pretty busy with the whole find a job thing and getting my last experiments running. I had an interview for a big ol' defense contractor here in Denver. I'm really hoping and praying that I get this one because it would be a really. Cool job and I wouldn't have to move away from here. I absolutely love Colorado- so much to do! Today was my off day - I went to my interview all day...

My road to becoming a Triathlete! Monday, July 28, 2014. Truly it has been hard. I don't know where to start. I was so excited but I had missed the race season :( that winter I was not going to spend my off season on my tushie. All was going well, and then. pregnant! Oh mywell there goes my next season. When the "Heath care system" became crap and my insurance would not longer cover my 3 times a week therapy to repair and strengthen my pelvis.frustrating. Thursday, February 16, 2012.
