Saturday, February 19, 2011. Weeks 17, 18, and 19 have been fairly uneventful. Lots of working, resting, eating, and growing. I have had a new pregnancy symptom creep up on me, though. Heartburn. Yuck! My in-laws suggested drinking a little bit of milk at night to coat my esophagus. Any other natural suggestions from experienced heartburn sufferers? You're not the only one, babe :) The appointment went well. The doctor said everything looked and sounded normal, and my weight is up 5 lbs overall. One more...

Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, etc, etc. I've been a bad blogger recently, but my cousin, Katie, motivated me to at least get my feet wet again. It's too late for me to spend much more time on the computer, but look forward to these updates coming soon:. 1) I'm now employed! 2) Brian started grad school! 3) My parents are turning 50 :). 4) We're looking to buy our first house! Thursday, March 8, 2012. All bundled up for the Homecoming parade. Family pic on Burleson Quad. Four month checkup stats:. 12 lbs. 11 oz (17th%). 24 1/2 inches (86th%). A fun little photo shoot with the cute onesie and boots. Uncle Luke gave her when she was born. She was still such a good little sleeper. Olivia's first race to cheer her daddy on! Wednesday, August 13, 2008. On Friday Brian and I went to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus at the American Airlines Center. Dani and David, Caylin, and Ryan Nix joined us. It was Brian's first time to go to the circus, and I hadn't been since high school. We had high expectations and were not disappointed. It was so much fun! We all left singing the theme song of the show, and it didn't stop until we got back to Caylin's apartment. . Tuesday, August 12, 2008. Kinley loves her learning table.

Sunday, February 5, 2012. Catching up. July through October! Photo disclaimer: We do have better pictures that we took with our real camera, but they're on Brian's part of the computer. So, to make it easier I just used the file of my iPhone pictures. Oh ya know, we had a baby. Brian hopes not. :) We had so many friends and family members there over the course of our stay in the hospital. Sunday, March 28, 2010. Just thought I should add some random pictures. My first 5K and Brian won 3rd place in his age group. Mia and my niece, Kinley, dressed as Dorothy for Halloween. Loree, Allison, and I at the Women of Faith Conference. Baylor vs Tech at the new Cowboys Stadium. New bedding for our master bedroom. I've since added some pretty ivory quilted euro shams. Update on the past 7 months. We are thoroughly content with this, by the way. in case any of you were wondering. :).

Thursday, April 21, 2011. Baby Girl Ballard Update. Even right now, as I start to type this update, Baby Girl is movin' and groovin' in my belly. She must have liked those snickerdoodle cookies I ate earlier! It's still crazy to me sometimes, but I love it! So blessed to be part of this miracle happening inside me.
