Falling back into animation. Almost a year has past since I last animated Guy. I've doodled him a thousand times and thought about him everyday. The last time we saw each other, he had just lost his shiney red box and was about to take a long, hard fall. The scene plays much better if you imagine him screaming like a little girl. REally coool animation drawing! I started in the middle of the project - but more because it was a technical test on what I thought would be an easy scene to test with.

I finally got around to creating some official Model Sheets. My delusions of finishing this film as a one man operation flew out the window a few weeks ago. As a result, I've been focusing on getting my shit together. This is amazing. I had no idea you were planning on projecting the animation on a live stage. Inspired by the design style of Todd Hemker. I've been playing around with adding some texture to the character and/or the background. Yeah todds stuff is gorgeous.at times reminds me of lane smith. I like the bottom bg texture and wonder if you can even create MORE space with layers of receding squares.with black hornrimmed glasses. These are awesome design! The man of many Blogs! Holy wow, this stuff is gorgeous! That animation is timed soooo well. If i had extra money laying around I would fund you.

The only time available to work the film was spent playing around with simple Photoshop filters and settings to help me develop the render style. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. I really like the colorized version but wondered if you could push the amount of texture that's in the image.i was leaning toward the posterized version but that doesn't allow for the softer bits of texture that help contrast the harder more obvious textural elements.
