Sunday, January 28, 2007. Some recently viewed movies. I've seen three pretty good movies in the last couple of weeks and I want to tell you about them. Last Sunday I saw. Curse of the Golden Flower. Monday, July 31, 2006. There is a town called Progresso just across the border in Mexico which exists primarily for tourists. People go there to buy curios, liqour, prescription drugs, and all sorts of things. Lately, a lot of young people have been going there to get tattoos or to get their hair braided. I spent this past weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada because a very good and generous friend of mine gave me a ticket to see Barbra Streisand at the MGM Grand. She's always been my favorite singer, and it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to go, so I went! Barbra was fantastic. Her voice is still as golden as it ever was.
