Monday, August 29, 2005. With a bit of spare time on a Sunday before. Last night, we slipped into the Natural History Musuem down the road, in order to enjoy the current. Face To Face exhibition. A Kitty's Home on the Web. This is herself, the mistress of this domain, Mistysdragon. Be careful, she bites! She is the Queen of kingdom, but she often rules from the back of the bedroom closet, her preferred resting place. Mostly, she rests. Misty is about 11 or 12 years old. This is Pusser [poo' sser]. Misty's friend. He died in October 2006. He was a wonderful kitty, known to his friends as "dingleball," or sometimes, after a particularly fragrant visit to the litterbox, as "poopasaurus.".

To the thump of Bedsitter . mother thinks I'm getting better we all howled. My liking for intelligent lyrics and those with a slightly (or even overt) post-modern awareness of the history and true uses of popular music eventually led me (ineluctably) to the work of Mr Stephin Merritt. Mr Merritt is a god, and his principal vehicle The Magnetic Fields. Are UNQUESTIONABLY the Best Band in The World. I will very probably kill and eat anyone that seriously disputes this statement. I also admire John Aubrey.
