Everything Estes: December 2008
http://everythingestes.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 06, 2008. This year is to me. Not just peeling back. The kind of pain that makes you feel your heartbeat. I shook my fist at You. I begged You to make it stop. I idolized the pleasantness of peace. As a last resort. I clung to You. Course through my veins. I saw myself as i was. So at the mercy of my own. And then i saw You. Not resenting me for my need. Not dragging your feet. But so unmistakably ready to love. And undeniably strong enough. With delightfully shameful reminders. So for...

Everything Estes: July 2008
http://everythingestes.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 29, 2008. So, as we promised. Here are some videos of Jude meeting Brennan for the first time. I said last time that the very first thing Jude did was kiss Brennan.I had forgotten that he was prompted! Oh well, cute nonetheless! Here Jude's a little more warmed up to Brennan. Listen for when Jon asks Jude to tell him Brennan's name. This will SURELY be a fun story to tell later! Oh, and this one is my favorite video! Ok So you know how you act different when you know you're being filmed?

Everything Estes: August 2008
http://everythingestes.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 31, 2008. Happy Birthday Sweet Boy! I couldn't have known. When I first saw you. How my heart would swell. And fill with love. I couldn't have known. What your tiny form would become. So precious, so perfect. A blend of your dad and me. I couldn't have known. I couldn't have known. That your sweet voice. Could still me and fill me. With such deep joy. I couldn't have known. The hard days would come. So tired, so humbled. By how to raise you. I couldn't have known. I couldn't have known.

A Peek into our Lives. Monday, June 28, 2010. Pictures, pictures, pictures. part 1. There are A LOT of pictures! I've been so bad about posting lately. Having a 1 and 4 yr. old will definitely do that. I still have lots more pictures to post and I hope to do that soon. So sit back, relax and enjoy the pictures! Shep riding his first pony at the Cornyval fair and rodeo! What a great time! I think the kids were literally dancing in the street in this pic! About to ride a lot of fun rides! What a fun party!

Jules & Vern: An Example for Leaving
http://jules-vern.blogspot.com/2007/08/example-for-leaving.html
Saturday, August 18, 2007. An Example for Leaving. But then I looked at the first verse of the first chapter that started on the page. Now, within the next 2-3 months, we say goodbye to our daughter, Sally, son-in-"love", Jon, and our first grandson, Jude. They are heading out to work overseas for 2-3 years (or longer). What makes it even harder is that they have lived with us for the past 7 months. By the time they leave, saying goodbye to our sweet little guy will be a real heart-breaker. So, next time...

Jules & Vern: September Bliss
http://jules-vern.blogspot.com/2007/10/september-bliss.html
Friday, October 19, 2007. For the past eight months, we have had the awesome blessing of having our daughter, Sally, son-in-law, Jon, and grandson, Jude, living with us. They will move overseas soon, and we'll be fortunate then to see them once a year. It has been a delight for us, more than I can put into words. Here are some pictures from September that give evidence of our joy. Scott and Kaye Birdsell. What a big boy you are Bam Bam! We love you, sweet thing! I can't wait to hold you in my arms again!

Jules & Vern: May 2008

Monday, May 26, 2008. Mother's Day in Orlando. This year for Mother's Day, Vernon and I travelled to Orlando to be with Scott and Kaye for the child dedication of their girls. Pops was a big hit with his BIG SUNGLASSES! Gloria is quite a little chunk! She is such a cutie and so eagerly smiles.however, her camera smiles are quite elusive. I just couldn't snap the shutter fast enough to catch her in full grin. We loved playing with the girls and just couldn't get enough lap time. View my complete profile.

Jules & Vern: December 2007
http://jules-vern.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 22, 2007. On December 17th, at 9:48 pm, I had the beautiful privilege of witnessing the birth of my fourth grandbaby, Gloria Noelle. What a little darling, she is! Here's a video of her when she was just 24 hours old. My time in Orlando was delightful. Before Gloria was born, I got to spend a good bit of time with her big sister, Grace. Grace has a joyful disposition, with a ready smile and shining eyes. We had so much fun playing. Here are a few pictures of her.
