http://washingtonrosenlunds.blogspot.com/2008/08/blog.html
Friday, August 22, 2008. They had been watching that "one last movie" before I read stories and tucked them in, and decided to go exploring. Dad's going to kill me! He sounded like he really believed it. I went downstairs feeling a little sick, thinking he must have killed the puppy or something. I found him turning in circles, wringing his hands and repeating his fears that his life was over. I think he was on the verge of hyperventilating. I finally got him to say "the window! Washington Rosenlunds: What was he thinking?
http://washingtonrosenlunds.blogspot.com/2008/09/what-was-he-thinking.html
Friday, September 5, 2008. What was he thinking? We have really been enjoying this week of lovely weather, and the kids have been taking full advantage of playing outside as long as possible. On these days I take advantage of. Being outside and this particular day in question I was actually making dinner. Diana came in to tattle on Dannan, our just-turned-7 year old, which happens regularly, but this time I was horrified to hear what he had done. After a little more talk to Dannan on proper weapon protoc...

Washington Rosenlunds: Ahhhh! Back to school!
http://washingtonrosenlunds.blogspot.com/2008/09/ahhhh-back-to-school.html
Wednesday, September 3, 2008. I just have to say how nice it is to have the kids back at school, and have a schedule imposed on me, instead of trying to keep it up all by myself! Of course by the end of the school year I'll be dying for a little freedom again. I love school supplies, new backpacks, and the feel of fall in the air. I'm excited for that first foggy morning that brings back poignant memories of someone yelling "BUS! I was so mad! Your kids and their shoes! You probably should have paid way ...

Washington Rosenlunds: January 2009
http://washingtonrosenlunds.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 16, 2009. I have spent the last several days preparing our team to drive down to Guatemala. We have a foundation that provides funds and equipment to the firefighters in Guatemala. The other mechanics in the shop were telling me they had been in stitches all day, listening to Ed speak louder and slower when Eduardo was obviously not understanding his English. "screw? Oh nut you mean the nut.". Visit www.bravefoundation.org for more information about their adventures. LIFE AT THE CURRANS.

Washington Rosenlunds: Broken Bones
http://washingtonrosenlunds.blogspot.com/2008/08/broken-bones.html
Tuesday, August 26, 2008. To keep him fairly still. At some point the next day he forgot about his possibly broken arms and climbed the 6 foot fence in our yard. When he fell off, and tried to catch himself with his hands- well, he remembered his injuries! He went into shock, a little, and it wasn't too hard to keep him off the fence after that. This will really do wonders for his academic success those first critical weeks of school. Just what you wanted to hear, right? He is the worst dare devil! I lov...

Sunday, January 6, 2008. Report on our trip to Guatemala. As most of you know, Kenyan, David and I, traveled to Guatemala. Kenyan was assigned a school project to research Guatemala. He spent several weeks researching and writing his report. He did an incredible job. He was very prepared to visit Guatemala. He was familiar with virtually all the locations we visited. Unfortunately, the morning was too foggy to see the sunrise. We left the tour group at this time and wandered around the Tem...We lef...
