Tuesday, February 16, 2010. Bedtime is always a very interesting time around here. My drama queen is the BEST staller! Tonight John put her down and she said her prayer.Dear God, Thank you for this day, thank you for mommy daddy's friend, (not sure what that means) thank you for Madagascar 2 and Thumbelina even though it's not over.In Jesus name Amen! I promise I won't keep quoting her prayers but lately she has really been putting some thought into them or just speaking her mind. Yesterday we got out of...

True Tales from the Toddler Trenches. Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Science, Math, and Reading, Toddler Style. Molly Toddler and I were talking about the impending. Of baby #3. She was trying to get her head around how a baby could fit in my tummy if it was as big as one of her dolls. Me (gesturing): The baby will be about this tall. But she has to be curled to fit in my tummy. So when she comes out, she'll like to snuggle in a little ball. Molly: Oh. So that's why your tummy is so round. Why I think the &...

I LOVE how much she is talking these days. It's a relief for both of us to be able to communicate better, and I'm impressed at how she's developing syntax as well as vocabulary. In honor of Thanksgiving, Lucy lays out her ideal feast:. Sunday, November 6, 2011. Lucy Plays with a Bag. This is why kids don't need fancy toys:.

Nurse Angie's News: October 2009
http://nurseangiesnews.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 31, 2009. Funny how things are different when it comes to yourself! As my doctor so eloquently put it, we might have to evict someone soon if I don't go on my own! Again, as a labor nurse, I do not want to be induced. However, if at 41 weeks, and still no progress, I will probably be begging for an induction. I will miss the pull on pants, and justification for eating a pack of E.L. Fudge cookies and white powdered donuts in 24 hrs. Saturday, October 10, 2009. Monday, October 5, 2009.

Monday, February 1, 2010. Granny Barb and Papa David were able to come visit a few weekends ago. It was so nice to have them! We hadn't had any company for trying to keep Allie from getting sick, and it has been hard! They had brought Allie's Christmas presents and this outfit was too cute, and fit her perfectly. I guess all of the grand kids. Are Arkansas fans, whether or not their Mom's and Dad' are! She was worn out after getting the turtle neck on! Then she gave me a little cheer! She is so much fun!

I love when Lucy Toddler asks to play "tenten" (pretend). So cute :-). Molly (looking at a B2 flying. Molly was imitating Pingu. Lucy (lifts up shirt): No, my apples.

Sunday, July 26, 2009. The mother put them there and covered them up! The third bunny was also close by, but he is more of a loaner. Saturday, July 25, 2009. On my way to work this morning I saw a beautiful rainbow. So, what was the logical thing to do but to try to take a picture of it with my phone while driving. Stupid, I know. But what a wonderful thing to see. I always think of God and His promise to never flood the earth again, and it amazes me every time. Tuesday, July 14, 2009.
