A Cass Act: May 2012
http://acassact.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, 13 May 2012. The not so many joys of selling a property- Viewers. Don't get me wrong, you clearly need viewers to inspect your pad and see whether or not they think they can live there before they spend their hard earned pennies and put an offer in. But seriously there are some real time wasters out there. After she left we were left with the distinct impression that she calls the estate agent up every time a new property appears so she can have a nosey around someone else's joint! One couple I h...

A Cass Act: September 2013
http://acassact.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Friday, 27 September 2013. Dear Son- a landmark or two. So you are 5 months and one week old today and have struck a huge landmark. Today in fact. OK so you're not elegant with it yet. You're not necessarily the quickest either. But you are crawling. In a very determined way. And it's exciting enough that you stop, look at me and giggle and laugh at the sense of achievement. You are very funny. And I am very proud. Carrots, Courgettes, Brocoli, Sweet Potato- Likey. Pear, Apple, Banana- Likey. Counting do...

A Cass Act: August 2012
http://acassact.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, 5 August 2012. OK so I've not blogged in a while but have been a picture of domestic bliss. Tonight I made Jam- Rhubarb and Blackcurrant. I would like to point out that in order to make jam you need to boil sugar to 104 degrees c. and not burn yourself. Jam making 101: Do not burn yourself.*. You might remember I am a bit high risk when it comes to scalds. One of the guys in our team at work brought in a bag of rhubarb and it was turning fast so on a visit to Craigies. This was the result . For a...

A Cass Act: March 2012
http://acassact.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, 29 March 2012. To one side please madam . . . On occasion I have to travel as part of my J. O. B. (a topic that has never featured on this blog, I do have to work for a living unfortunately- still working on my money trees idea though). An early morning flight to Birmingham International airport leaves me shattered by the time I get back about 10pm that night. But regardless of the time of day, lack of sleep and longing for my nice warm bed, a little bit of my brain doesn't ever switch off.

A Cass Act: November 2011
http://acassact.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 9 November 2011. I am fed up. I am trying not to be but I am royally fed up. I think I need to take a wee break from blogging until I rediscover my mojo as it were. Friday, 4 November 2011. When you were 30 you had a 3 year old Cass, a 1 year old Little B and were pregnant with Mummy L. The problems that were to come down the line had not manifested themselves at this point in all our lives. These were probably your most glorious days and years - I wish they were longer. Your watch is different.

A Cass Act: July 2013
http://acassact.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Friday, 26 July 2013. A few more of my favourite things by Son. I thought you might like to hear about some more of my favourite things:. These are still my to favourite thing. I'm not holding onto them for days at a time any more, I am firing out 5 or 6 a day. I especially like to do them in fresh nappies that Mummy has just put on. 3 Vowels especially the letter A. I can say it quietly. I can say it LOUDLY. I can say it quickly. I can say it s.l.o.w.l.y. I can mix these all up. Hyperbole and a Half.

A Cass Act: February 2014
http://acassact.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Monday, 24 February 2014. Have I done it all now? As a Mummy that is). I will confess- this is a gross story but one I feel I have to share. At NCT there is a decent amount of promotion of Nappy Free time. I think there is some sense in this particularly if you have been through a couple of days of nappy rash. This worked well when he was little and not much of a mover. These days he can cover a respectable distance quickly crawling. . . Today my luck had run out with nappy free time. On my cream carpet.

A Cass Act: Finding my way
http://acassact.blogspot.com/2014/05/finding-my-way.html
Thursday, 8 May 2014. The kind words my doctor said when I brought my blue eyed smiling boy in for a check up. I am not sure how much she realised those words meant. I've been thinking about them all day. I am very much finding my way in new territory. He had been throwing himself around in a complete tantrum like way- totally out of character I might add- a result of an ear infection it happens rather than my poor mothering. Why are there no toys on the market that look like charger cables? The taller h...

A Cass Act: A tiny angel
http://acassact.blogspot.com/2014/04/a-tiny-angel.html
Tuesday, 22 April 2014. I'm so sorry Catherine.". At 12 weeks I'd expect it to be larger [but thats ok, I'm quite small and Husband isn't tall either]. I'd also expect to see a strong heartbeat [oh]". Everything sounds muffled. Like I am under water. Aware of small arms reaching out to hug me. Would you like me to switch off the monitor? I dont care, leave it, its fine [it's not fine. Nothing is fine. I just don't care.]". Would you like me to take you through what I am seeing here? In a new room. All th...
