Sunday, January 25, 2009. Out with the old. This past week we completed a little project of updating our kitchen. We had a light box in the kitchen that was nice but just a little out dated. Our neighbor is an electrician and he offered to help us install some can lights and pendant lights. I added to the update with some new curtains that I made. We went to Jackson Hole a couple of weeks ago for a little getaway. We had a good time.We rode the new tram lift up the mountain and did a lot of relaxing. here are some pictures of our trip. I made Steve drive the 2 hours to see Old faithful. The kids were more impressed with playing in the gravel than seeing water fly in the air. It was a long drive for them! Friday, September 18, 2009. Ed turned 50 on the 13th. We had a surprise birthday dinner at the Cheese Cake Factory a couple of days before with his Dad and brothers and sisters. It was so fun to get together and to celebrate Ed's birthday. On his actual birthday we also had a little surprise celebration at the house with some family and friends. The boys decided months ago that they wanted to attend skateboard camp at the skate park that is near our house. Sunday, April 19, 2009. We came home 2 days early from our annual Turkey Hunting (and camping and fishing) Trip. Although the temperature was perfect, we couldn't. Take the rain anymore. We took a two hour nap in our tent to wait out the rain yesterday and it stopped so we stayed there. This morning it started raining about 11:00 am and didn't.
