Thursday, December 12, 2013. Every year the boys get to pick out an ornament. I just love seeing what they pick based on the year's interests or even just what they did that same day. Garett's pick- the duckbill platypus from Phineas and Ferb. Because that is what he watched that day. Afro Bird- because we had a coupon for a free ornament and the bird has an afro so how could we NOT buy it? Adam and Ryan both picked out a peacock ornament. Garett showing off his new ornament. Sunday, March 29, 2015. Where We Went (Minuteman Missile). We had a ton of fun in the Black Hills, but we needed to start heading home. The boys had completed their Jr. Ranger badges for the Badlands, but we were too late to turn it in before so we had to head back on the way home. Minuteman Missile is right at the entrance to the Badlands so we just had to stop. Friday, November 29, 2013. We celebrated Thanksgiving with a few other families. It was so nice to share such great food and company! I will leave on Monday, and Joe will bring the boys up on Thursday! We have a wedding! Joe’s drill is starting to take it’s toll on both of us, as well as costing much more than he makes!
