Benvolio's Blog: April 2005

My shot in the dark on all things humorous, political, controversial, and thought-provoking. I don't claim to say it like it is, just the way I see it. We've heard that a million monkeys at a million keyboards could produce the complete works of Shakespeare; now, thanks to the Internet, we know that is not true." -Robert Wilensky. My Take on Life: 01.2005
http://theredheadblog.blogspot.com/2005_01_01_archive.html
My Take on Life. The Truth about Air Mattresses. I should be doing laundry (all of my favorite socks are dirty) but I'm putting it off to blog. A worthy deed, I think. This past week Benvolio and I were privileged to sleep on a real mattress. That's right. Our rental bed from management finally came in. It was a momentous occasion. Where were we sleeping before? Thanks to Mynamyn and Dinomight not on the floor. We were sleeping on a. Posted by The Redhead at 2:49 PM. I'm sure many of us have felt this wa...

My Take on Life: Visiting Awkwardness
http://theredheadblog.blogspot.com/2005/01/visiting-awkwardness.html
My Take on Life. I'm sure many of us have felt this way. You dread going visiting teaching not because you are delinquent or hate your girls. You dread it because of the awkward silences. I went last night, and it was probably about the most awkward time I've ever had. I tried to keep a fun conversation going, but every three sentences there was. Think of something witty to say! Too late. Awkward silence ensues. Posted by The Redhead at 2:24 PM. I feel the same way, too. Maybe it's in our blood.

Family Doings: My daughters... the rockers.
http://stinsonfam.blogspot.com/2009/07/my-daughters-rockers.html
Thursday, July 2, 2009. My daughters. the rockers. A and D have had these cheap play guitars for a while. They bring them out every now and again to play and goof off. The strings were beyond cheap, and so i had to replace them - but it'll at least make sounds (even if it isn't really in-tune) so the munchkins just love playing with them. I think A is going to be my main acoustic flower-child girl. C is always so happy! July 2, 2009 at 10:57 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Family Doings: June 2009
http://stinsonfam.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 6, 2009. End of school and random pic. Very important in their lives right now ;-). This is A on her last day with her teacher. Mrs. Miller is having a baby in august, and A is afraid she won't see her again for a while - amazing how attached they can become in one short year. This is D and his teacher; she and I worked quite closely together with D this year. He enjoyed her and is looking forward to 4th grade! Thursday, June 4, 2009. Fun with cardboard boxes. I love my kids' imagination!

Family Doings: February 2009
http://stinsonfam.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 26, 2009. We were supposed to have the Pinewood derby last month, but it got canceled due to snow. So, we did it this month instead of pack meeting. D and A were totally stoked! I told him that I wasn't sure that superglue was the best option; it has to be applied very carefully so that it doesn't get on the wheels. Now,. perhaps i should have just kept my mouth shut, because they go RACING back to the car, and the boys themselves decide to stop the gluing process. *doh! Some WONDERFUL...
