Economic Manifesto – 2 | Truefictitioustruth

Truth is a matter of imagination. Economic Manifesto – 2. The argument is wrong on many counts. Let’s take the first one, what if he had not invested. I turn and say what if he had not invested, what would he have done with the money? The argument highlights one factor and conveniently ignores the other. The impression they are trying to create is that the investor has put all his saving in the venture and its failure will make him a pauper. While on the other hand it tries to prject that the emp...If I ...

The last resort | Truefictitioustruth
https://truefictitioustruth.wordpress.com/2013/04/14/the-last-resort
Truth is a matter of imagination. Resorts are very interesting places. And one of the most fascinating place there is the pool area. First he like the Olympic swimmers show the ritual of dunking his head multiple times as a starting point, then other similar contortions, then he shall take a lap (it is always just one lap of a pool which is just larger than a wading pool) then he shall do his ritual again. Post which he shall turn around and seek the admiring eyes of his companions. A Lesson →. Get every...
Economic Manifesto -1 | Truefictitioustruth
https://truefictitioustruth.wordpress.com/2012/12/10/economic-manifesto-1
Truth is a matter of imagination. One of the basic beliefs in the capitalist mind is that the one who takes the risk must have the highest right to enjoy the benefits of success. Now I am no socialist but despite my strong capitalist leaning I cannot fathom or agree upon this fundamental principle. Let’s try to break the whole process in sub-parts. This is a very simplified approach but for the purpose of argument it will suffice. The idea turns out to be successful business model and profits are made.

Thursday, August 26, 2010. It was great to see anay building up this structure, for the first time he was seriously playing with blocks. today he realised for the first time that blocks can be set together to create something much larger than those little plastic blocks. After setting each block he would stop and applaud for himself by clapping and looking at us expecting us to do the same. well we were more than happy to clap for him. Links to this post. Sunday, December 31, 2006. I walk along the familiar paths. As some friendly hopes give me company,. Little regrets wander along. And few desires go out of sight,. Arguing with the future. Carefree laughter still echoes. The difference those kind words made, shows. A few more events add to the memories. I'll fondly look back to. As time ticks unhurried, I walk along-. Thursday, September 28, 2006. Obituary- Ustaad Bismillah Khan. It was a special day in June 2003. Ustaad Bismillah Khan was to play the Shehnai at the annual SPICMACAY concert in IIT-Bombay that evening. We were awaiting his arrival in the green room. We ran about to ensure we had enough bottles of Mangola (chilled) and enough packets of Good day biscuits. Ustaad Bismillah Khan loved this treat, we were told. We were anxious and nervous. Was the room clean enough? Was the mangola cold enough? In the midd...

Monday, October 16, 2006. All my spurts of impulse and misbehaviour at home would invariably be followed by a shrill scream from Aaji, "You'll get to know what living is all about when you go live in a hostel". Infact, there are a lot of things which teach you about living, but let's not get that personal. I eventually did leave home. As I climbed the wooden stairs, each floor showed a different kind of lifestyle. On the ground floor, inside the building entrance, there was a modest courtyard, and a ...

Thursday, May 22, 2008. Hope: after two months of working in this place I just realised that there is still some hope. Hope for the body copy to survive, hope for the malnourished ad to get enriched with a dose of finely crafted body copy. Two months since I joined I have been working on ads without bullet pointed copy. That’s like the speck of light in the other side of the dark tunnel. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). the Sushi bar: the pain washes away
http://thechroniclesofsushi.blogspot.com/2012/03/pain-washes-away.html
A raw, intense display of emotions/opinions with a splash of 'saki' to go with it. Definitely, an acquired taste! Mar 19, 2012. The pain washes away. From the pretense of life. Where its okay to break down. Tears flow; hot and heavy. Its easier when no one is watching. Embracing the ghosts of my past. A brave act of acceptance. Investing half an hour a day. To think about new beginnings. In the shower, the pain washes away. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. The pain washes away.
