Fighting for Joy: He Made Him To Be Sin Who Knew No Sin
http://fightingforjoy.blogspot.com/2006/12/he-made-him-to-be-sin-who-knew-no-sin.html
Because broken cisterns will never satisfy :. He Made Him To Be Sin Who Knew No Sin. As I write this, former Iraqi dictator and mass murderer Saddam Hussein was executed just a few hours ago. While watching the news off and on in the hours and minutes leading up to his death, I kept reflecting on the fate of this man and the biblical reality of hell. Saddam was not at all prepared to meet his Maker. Any religious duties he carried out during his time on earth mean nothing now. Who have sinned against God.

Because broken cisterns will never satisfy :. Living as a Bold and Brokenhearted Theologian. 8220;Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and how inscrutable His ways! 8216;For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been His counselor? 8216;Or who has given a gift to Him that he might be repaid? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever. Amen.”. So what is a bold and brokenhearted theologian. For they ar...

The August 14 issue of. Contained an exclusive cover story on one of the great evangelists of our day, Rev. Billy Graham. Because broken cisterns will never satisfy :. Countdown to New Attitude 07. Well, the semester with all of its stresses and pressures is now over and summer break has arrived. These past few months have not been without periods of spiritual dryness in my life, but the Lord has once again demonstrated His faithfulness to me. Why do I doubt Him? How precious are verses like this one:. If we are faithless, He remains faithful—. For He cannot deny Himself. On Saturday I will be headed to. Posted by Shane P.

http://fightingforjoy.blogspot.com/2007/06/reflections-on-na-07-part-2.html
Because broken cisterns will never satisfy :. Reflections on Na 07: Part 2. At the beginning of New Attitude 07, Josh Harris reminded us to think of ourselves first as we listened to each message of the conference. What he meant was this: when listening to a convicting sermon, we often tend to dwell on thoughts like “so and so really needs to hear this” while forgetting that we ourselves really need to hear what is being preached (how guilty I am of this! Fighting for Joy: Born To Give Us Second Birth
http://fightingforjoy.blogspot.com/2007/12/born-to-give-us-second-birth_25.html
Because broken cisterns will never satisfy :. Born To Give Us Second Birth. This Christmas season, I have been pondering a particular line in the familiar carol Hark! The Herald Angels Sing. 8220;Born to raise the sons of earth / Born to give them second birth.”. We were haters of God and enemies of God (Romans 1:30, 5:10).
