The Thomas Family: January 2013
http://karenandbillythomas.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 26, 2013. What Happens in Florida stays in Florida. Cocoa Beach is a sleepy little town outside of Orlando on the Atlantic coast of Florida. We have been going to Cocoa Beach for as long as I can remember. My grandparents got a condo down there in the early eighties, and as much as they loved each of the families coming and visiting them in the months that they were down there, they decided they needed one more! Thomas family - Sayonara Pelican Point. Andrew and cousin Jake. Brave Andre...

The Thomas Family: December 2013
http://karenandbillythomas.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 1, 2013. We love you, Matt Carpenter. The only time he changes character is when they send him to first and he tells us he is switching to Matt Adams. Or, at home when he puts on his osh kosh shirt that has a 7 on it, he is Matt Holiday - he asked me Friday morning why don't they make shirts with 13's on them? So I can be Matt Carpenter! We use Matt as we train him up in character. "Would Matt Carpenter never let his friends go first? An Experiment in Throwing. First Major League Game.

The Thomas Family: Happy Halloween
http://karenandbillythomas.blogspot.com/2013/10/happy-halloween.html
Thursday, October 31, 2013. The boys wanted to be baseball players this year - how easy is that? Thanks to my brother, we basically had all of the gear - all I needed was $7 pants, a $3 belt, and a $2 tube of eye black. Andrew started hinting around last night about being a football player (which made me panic a bit - where am I going to get a football costume to fit him in 11 hours) but it lost its luster (thankfully) and he was back on the bandwagon! Angela) slept through the whole thing. Billy and I f...

The Thomas Family: August 2014
http://karenandbillythomas.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 16, 2014. St Louis, Here We Come! Mr Carpenter - Maybe you were an all-star for 2013 and 2014, maybe you were the recipient of the National League’s Silver Slugger award, maybe you lead the league in doubles and base hits in 2013, but you know you’ve really made it when you are somebody’s birthday theme. We tried to go with just generic Cardinal’s theme but Luke insisted on a Matt Carpenter birthday party. Ben is home with Grandma and Grandpa). Karen and Billy Thomas. Billy and I feel so...

The Thomas Family: April 2012
http://karenandbillythomas.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 15, 2012. This post is out of order. Easter came before the boys' birthday party but, as my mother (an probably yours) would say, better late than never. We decided to give the boys "Cars" Easter baskets, to make Andrew happy, and then the eggs they hunted were designed to look like sports balls (in honor of Luke). Karen and Billy Thomas. Saturday, April 14, 2012. Enough of that - here are some cheerful pictures. Karen and Billy Thomas. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Karen and Billy Thomas.

The Thomas Family: April 2013
http://karenandbillythomas.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 22, 2013. I totally thought I would be better about posting this year - so far I am underwhelming myself. Here is Easter none-the-less and with any luck will have a birthday post for the boys before the summer is over. Here is what I remember about dying Easter eggs as a kid:. 1) it is an impossible amount of time from when you drop the tablet in the water or vinegar until the little pellet melts. Egg dying is serious work! I love these chubby arms! But the real meat and potatoes of the hol...

The Thomas Family: November 2011
http://karenandbillythomas.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 17, 2011. The boys love a pumpkin patch! We could stay there all day - and the one that we go to has a choo choo, bounces houses and a little petting zoo area making it even more fun to drag the boys home. We let the boys pick the pumkin and I drew the face and Billy carved it. We are "happy" jack-o-lantern people hence the goofy smile. Those boys (and their mom) slept well that night! And next year like it or not, we are retiring the pumpkin and the chicken. Karen and Billy Thomas.

The Thomas Family: February 2013
http://karenandbillythomas.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 24, 2013. A Mother of Boys. So this post will be a bit cliche, but it will hit home with my friends who are mothers of boys. And surely there are exceptions - there will be those that can't identify with what I am saying - but based on the casual conversations that I have had with both beloved friends and family and passer-bys, the general consensus is something as follows. Here's what I stink at. Karen and Billy Thomas. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Karen and Billy Thomas. Out of the loop.

The Thomas Family: September 2011
http://karenandbillythomas.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 16, 2011. My sister died on August 19th. That sentence rolls off my toungue like I have been saying it all my life. And every time I say it, it becomes a little more real. So I am very choosey about when I allow those words to pass my lips - because I am afraid I will reach a point where I have said it so much that my heart will finally believe it and I will be a mess all over again. KT's Crumbles - formerly crunchy jumbles. 1 Cup of Sugar. Cream these together with a mixer). Billy and ...
