http://fuzzfreefood.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Cook, eat, enjoy! On Saturday I bought a bag of frozen, peeled and deveined shrimps. Talk about shortcuts. Normally I buy them with shell, so this was a nice change. I always try to have a bag of frozen shrimp in the freezer. Never know when I need them. For these super simple garlic shrimps I used:. About 25 pieces of peeled and deveined shrimps. 4 cloves of garlic. 1 teaspoon of salt. Some slivers of fresh chili. 1 teaspoon of garlic powder. Dash of olive oil. Shrimp cooks so fast, so the whole process...

Cook, eat, enjoy! Canh dau hu he (tofu chives soup). As you know I haven’t been blogging much (well not at all) anymore, but I’d like to give you an update of what is going on. Since I stared running I’ve been able to lose 6 kilos in total! There is no secret in losing weight and unfortunately there is no easy way to do it either. It’s something everyone knows, but so it’s hard to follow. All you need is to eat less and to exercise more. Easier said then done for sure. I just love soups and it’s so...

Cook, eat, enjoy! Easy apple pie cheese cake. I've been IMA for so long it feels quite weird to start blogging again. But I noticed that I've missed it so I'll try to post more frequently. I hope to be able to persuade you to make this. It's a real "Dutch" treat. Or at least I think it is a Dutch treat since I've never seen it made like this anywhere else. Cook, eat, enjoy! A smile that lights your day. Ok for now, no more food and cooking. I wouldn’t be a good aunt if I didn’t post about my newborn niece and nephew once a while. Remember we went back to. To visit my hubby's brother, his wife and their new born twins. They are entering their 5 month . Can't believe we've been back to reality for 2 months now. Fuzz Free Food: August 2011

Cook, eat, enjoy! Ruoc thit heo (shredded pork). I was a little bit hesitant about sharing this recipe. Not because it wasn’t tasty, but because I think it’s not something for everyone. But after I let my boss have a taste and he liked it, I thought why not. Maybe you get to like it as well. I actually use the same cut of pork as for my roast pork recipe. I think it is what you call the leg/ham part of the pig. Basically any cut that has lots of meat and a bit of fat is good. It took quite some time for ...

Cook, eat, enjoy! I was so happy yesterday…the start of the weekend. I was planning to do absolutely noting, but this morning I suddenly had the urge to clean up my little “storage” room. First we took out all of the stuff, man it was a lot! After that was done I got the brilliant idea of cleaning out my kitchen cupboards. That took the other half of the day so you can imagine that dinner was quite quick. But hey, before all 7 cupboards were packed and now I filled 6 and have one empty one left! Let it a...

Fuzz Free Food: June 2011

Cook, eat, enjoy! The mini series: apple apricot crumble pie. I couldn’t help myself. If I have something in mind I have to do it. I haven’t played enough with my molds yet so it was baking time tonight. I even skipped watching my show for it. Because I didn’t want to make to much and most recipes are for “large” quantities I decided to just wing it. For 24 mini apple crumble pies I used:. 4 big tablespoons of self rising flour. 1,5 table spoons of sugar. A pinch of salt. 2 tablespoons of cold butter.

Cook, eat, enjoy! I hope everyone had a great ending of 2011 with lots of good food and even better company. I’d love to hear how you all celebrate the beginning of 2012. We ended 2011 by flying over to the States on the last day of the year. We had a direct flight to Houston and landed just on time at 14.00 hours. It was great being back in the States after the last time 2 years ago. For now I just try to run a bit every day and to make the best out of our holiday. What are your goals for this year?
