http://mountainbula.blogspot.com/2009/10/not-bad-for-my-first-elk-hunt.html
The High Times of RBM. Thursday, October 22, 2009. Not bad for my first Elk Hunt. Here are some photos of my first elk hunt near Taos, NM. I shot him at 210 yards, he fell about 20 feet from where he was hit. It took five trips to get the meat out in backpacks, I walked nearly 50 miles with some help to complete the hunt. Pretending to speak French since 2009. BIYDKV’s “Titanium Pelican”. John of Bonk If You Don’t Know Velocio. Has a lovely bicycle with a great story. I’ve seen the bike in person, and have one photo of it saved from JimG, when he built a rack for it. But I haven’t been able to find many photos of the bike from my faraway perch in Southern California. How else am I supposed to eye it! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Underbiking | vélo flâneur
https://veloflaneur.wordpress.com/2009/12/21/underbiking
Pretending to speak French since 2009. Ride a traditional road bicycle on surfaces that typically warrant the use of knobbie tires, flat bars, and sometimes suspension. Its fun to see dual-suspension mountain bikers’ strange looks on the trails as we underbike. A bicycle with a light frame, drop bars, slick tires, multiple gears, suitable for ordinary roads, but instead ridden on fire roads, trails, singletrack, sand, and rocks. Let’s put some 35mm road tires on there, we’ll have ourselves an underbike.
