Peter's Portal: First Blog
http://petersportal.blogspot.com/2008/11/first-blog.html
Monday, November 17, 2008. It's 11:30 PM. I planned to go to bed early this evening because I'm anticipating a long, stressful day tomorrow. I've been in bed now for a couple hours, unable to sleep. Thoughts of my day tomorrow have me restless. Often on nights like this, I lay in bed staring at the TV. Tonight however, I couldn't bring myself to fill the room with the nothingness the networks portray as entertainment. I've put myself to sleep. Good night. Posted by Peter Hester. Peter's Portal: I'd Walk Sixty Miles for Your Boobs
http://petersportal.blogspot.com/2008/11/id-walk-sixty-miles-for-your-boobs.html
Sunday, November 23, 2008. I'd Walk Sixty Miles for Your Boobs. Courage, Belief, Opportunity, Friends, Love, these were the themes displayed proudly on the banners carried by participants in the Susan G. Komen, 3-day, Walk for a Cure. Another participant hobbled on the shoulders of another, her shoes off, the blisters on her feet taped to protect the open soars. As if defiant, her smile shined brightly, as did her cheeks from the tears flowing down her face. In spite of the seriousness of the event, spir...

Peter's Portal: Should the Automotive Manufacturers Receive Additional Bail-out Funds?
http://petersportal.blogspot.com/2009/02/should-automotive-manufacturers-receive.html
Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Should the Automotive Manufacturers Receive Additional Bail-out Funds? Automotive suppliers are responsible for most of the 15,000 parts that go into every automobile. While the name plates may say General Motors, Chrysler or Ford, Industries like electrical engineering, sheet metal stamping, plastic injection molding, iron foundries, rubber, textile and glass manufactures, provide the components that comprise the final product. The expenditures support a host of community f...

Peter's Portal: February 2009
http://petersportal.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 20, 2009. An Evening with Boney James. I Enjoyed an up close and personal session with Boney James. He played several tracks from his latest CD, including "Touch", "Stop, Look and Listen (To Your Heart)" and the title track, "Send One Your Love". It was very intimate. Afterwords he stood among the crowd and answered questions for about a half hour. When asked who is the one artist that he'd most like to perform with, he said Aretha Franklin. That's a show I wouldn't miss! Automotive supp...

Peter's Portal: A Messade to Judith
http://petersportal.blogspot.com/2009/10/messade-to-judith.html
Tuesday, October 27, 2009. A Messade to Judith. I'm not sure if you're aware of it quite yet, but you're standing on the sea of greatness! And so today we see many artist, some very talented, and some not so talented, caught up in the waves of artist that roll in with the tide, and then out again. If they're lucky, they may tread water long enough to land a reality show. I look forward to the tidal wave that is Judith Hill. Posted by Peter Hester. You are invited to follow my blog. Peter's Portal: What Happens After Death?
http://petersportal.blogspot.com/2009/06/what-happens-after-death.html
Saturday, June 13, 2009. What Happens After Death? Will there be pain, suffering, or hurt in heaven? Not in the heaven I dream of. But I have to refer to this question each time the discussion on the afterlife is presented. I was raised by my mom and stepdad. My stepdad was the son of a Baptist minister. Though we were not Baptist, we would on occasion visit my Grandfather’s church. On a Sunday, a few weeks following the Hot Wheels incident, we worshiped at his church. If someone you care about is diagno...
