Monday, February 02, 2015. Islam war against the United States - an old war. Most Americans are unaware of the fact that over two hundred years ago, the United States had declared war on Islam and Thomas Jefferson led the charge! These extortionists of the high seas represented the Islamic nations of Tripoli, Tunis, Morocco, and Algiers – collectively referred to as the Barbary Coast – and presented a dangerous and unprovoked threat to the new American Republic. In 1786, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams m...

Wasted Days Wasted Nites: July 2013
http://wdwd.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 25, 2013. I blame my sister Donna for my addiction. True, in the past I had dabbled and experimented on my own. Nothing hardcore you understand. Just a taste, only once in a great while, to see if it still felt as good as the last time. Never enough to dig deeply into my pocketbook nor draw attention to my habit. Only quite a little personal fancy to mix color and designs in a way that made me happy. And it's all Donna's. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Fifty, not Frumpy.

Wasted Days Wasted Nites: MY SON, THE HERO
http://wdwd.blogspot.com/2006/08/my-son-hero.html
Monday, December 01, 2014. MY SON, THE HERO. This is a reposting of an old post from Friday, August 6, 2006, about my deceased son. Miss you Chane. After the shitty 12 hour shift at work I drove home, downed a cold beer or three while soaking my cares away in a hot bath and crashed across my bed early. Things seemed much better until I sat straight up in bed at midnight, heart pounding and straining to hear what had disturbed some well earned slumber. To crawl underneath it and carry the puppies out.

Wasted Days Wasted Nites: April 2014
http://wdwd.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 30, 2014. FW: The Importance of Walking. The Importance of walking. A walk can add minutes to your life. This enables you at 85 years old to spend an additional 5 months in a Nursing Home at $4,000 per month. My grandpa started walking five miles a day when he was 60. Now he's 97 years old and we have no idea where the hell he is. I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me. The only reason I would take up walking is so that I could hear heavy breathing again.

Wasted Days Wasted Nites: May 2014
http://wdwd.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 29, 2014. Ever notice how your mind wanders when you’re under gas at the dentist? While having my teeth cleaned today I had a wonderful idea for a blog post while under the effects of laughing gas. Problem is that now, hours later, I can't for the life of me remember what it was. It's gone, floating out there somewhere in the land of lost thoughts. I blame it on the nitrous oxide, not my advanced years. Yeah, that’s my story and I'm sticking to it. Links to this post.
