Crèche and Early Childhood Development (ECD). In March 2011, Tshepong took over an existing crèche in the nearby Raphuthi settlement. The founder and owner of the crèche wished to retire and approached Tshepong’s management to take over both the facility and its staff. Although this was not part of Tshepong’s original development plan, the crèche had to be saved for the community.
