The Warrens: February 2013
http://shellynnsamkay.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 14, 2013. These pictures loaded a little out of order and I don't have the patience to rearrange them. This is basically a summary of what's been happening with the Warrens since Christmas. She still loves her Easy Bake oven that Grammy and Grampy got her as an early Christmas present. We literally made like 50 mini pretzels this day. They were good too! Sammy and her Easy Bake oven. Love I turned this one into a Valentines Card. Visit to a cupcake boutique. Tallest tower to date.

The Warrens: May 2012
http://shellynnsamkay.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 19, 2012. My friend, Alisha, invited us to join her at an open art session at an art studio near her house. It was for ages 2 and up and I figured Matt would not be interested, but he ran right in and picked up a paintbrush. There were many different stations with different materials and tools and Samantha and Matt couldn't wait to try all of them. The pictures aren't that great because they're from my phone. This kid LOVES to dress up.in anything. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The South Caro...

The Warrens: October 2012
http://shellynnsamkay.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Samantha took a walking field trip to the pumpkin patch down the street from her school. I volunteered to go along as a chaperone and I wanted Matt to go too. I think I ended up chaperoning only him because he was being terrible. I don't blame him though it was like 90 degrees and super humid. It was pretty miserable. Despite the heat, I think the kids had fun. Choosing a pumpkin. He wanted one as big as him, but we ended up with a tiny one. My favorite. 100% Matt. Here is th...

The Warrens: Entryway Closet Remodel
http://shellynnsamkay.blogspot.com/2013/11/entryway-closet-remodel.html
Saturday, November 2, 2013. This is the most boring post ever, but I had to document our first successful home improvement project. We started out with a long hallway of closets, seriously, four coat closets in a row. Really, who needs that many closets? Now we have an empty canvas. Sam built a subfloor out of 2x4s and plywood. Next is the bench area (built the same way.). That is so cool! Sam is so handy! Cant wait to see the upholstered seat! I love the fabric choice! November 2, 2013 at 3:50 PM. The B...

The Warrens: August 2014
http://shellynnsamkay.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 26, 2014. It's been a while. I haven't updated this in about a year. I finally have time to keep up with it since both kids are in school.yay! I'm so excited because we have never owned a new house and super excited about the fact that we can just move in and relax. No renovations, no repairs, no worries. The stressful part is that I have to be responsible for the build from start to finish since Sam will be gone. Enough house stuff. Here's what we have been up to:. The Nesbitts in SoCal.

The Warrens: October 2013
http://shellynnsamkay.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 13, 2013. All of my friends have decided to jump back into blogging, so I'll make the same effort and try to keep my blog updated. Key Word: Try. My last post was Matt's 3rd birthday. wow. I don't really have a lot of pictures because the last couple of months have been a whirlwind I never busted out my camera. All I have are cell phone pictures and I haven't gotten around to downloading those either. I miss this view from Sammy's bedroom window. I miss this backyard. Sam laid some more s...

The Warrens: March 2013
http://shellynnsamkay.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 14, 2013. El Paso and other adventures. Sammy had western day at school before we left. The vest and skirt cost me $2.50 total. I got lucky at the thrift store on base. Then on to El Paso we went. Met up with my friends for dinner at Carlos and Mickey's (our usual) for Mexican food (San Antonio is lacking in that dept.) and of course Margaritas! Always a fun time with these girls. Sunset in El Paso (San Antonio is also lacking here). Matt and his Spider Man. Back in San Anton io.

The Warrens: January 2013
http://shellynnsamkay.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 4, 2013. The week before Christmas break, Sammy was the star student in her class and she got to take home Brutus, the class dog, for the week. There were a lot of fun activities she was supposed to do with him and talk about it the next day in class. Unfortunately, she came down with the flu and missed a few days, but she had fun anyway. Here she is the morning of her class Winter Party. I was so upset that I had to miss it. Matt came down with the flu the day before :(. It will definite...

The Warrens: November 2012
http://shellynnsamkay.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 15, 2012. One Very Long Road Trip. With Sam being away at Officer Training School, I decided it was time to break from San Antonio and go see family and what better excuse than a wedding? My cousin Mikaela got married to Blake on November 10 in Phoenix, AZ. Now let's backtrack. Sam left for OTS on October 15 and Kassandra flew in to help me out with the kids on Oct 29. We had a pretty awesome Halloween (both kids actually went trick or treating and had a blast! The Nesbitts in SoCal.

The Warrens: Matt's 3rd Birthday!!
http://shellynnsamkay.blogspot.com/2013/04/matts-3rd-birthday.html
Sunday, April 21, 2013. It's not quite his birthday (23rd), but we had a cake for him on Saturday and he got to open his presents. I seriously cannot believe he's already 3! We got him a balance bike. He's not too fond of it yet. It's a about an inch too tall and the sad thing is that it's for 1 1/2 to 4 year olds. He's pretty short. Sammy got a little something too :). More presents from Mom and Dad. He played with this thing for 3 hours straight, no joke. There was some awesome stuff in there! She is r...
