Connell's Chronicles: June 2014
http://connellschronicles.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 21, 2014. The Day I Had Twins. Last Tuesday, I kept both Cara and Murphee while Cari was out of town. Two girls, 10 weeks apart, all day. Sounds fun! I had lots of activities planned to keep our time full and fun, and as soon as Murphee came over, we jumped right in! After we played for a while and rode the plastic kid's roller coaster, we loaded up the car (literally) to go to My Little Play Place. Then we moved to the water table, and they played with the little animals and then discover...

Monday, May 26, 2014. Weekend Recap- M&M's birthday party. We had such a great extended weekend of fun with our family. We enjoyed our Memorial Day holiday and got over Cara's 4-day fever, thank goodness. Chance stayed home with Cara for her last day of fever, and I raced home at 3:45 to play with her. I had a girl's dinner planned, and Chance was so sweet to let me go, even though he'd been home all day. What a guy! Like I said, what a guy. Made my heart feel a lot better. PS when did she get so tall?

Connell's Chronicles: Weekend Recap-Girl's Trip!
http://connellschronicles.blogspot.com/2014/07/weekend-recap-girls-trip.html
Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Last weekend, almost all of my Waco girlfriends and I took a road trip to Austin to spend the weekend together and see one of our friends who currently lives there. It was one of the best weekends I had in a while! Cara and I spent the day bumming around the house, watching Mickey Mouse, reading books, going to HEB for a few groceries for her and Chance for the weekend, etc. She "helped" me pack, which means she watched Mickey Mouse on the iPad while I packed my bags. After our bi...

Connell's Chronicles: Cara is 22 months old!
http://connellschronicles.blogspot.com/2014/07/cara-is-22-months-old.html
Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Cara is 22 months old! We're getting so close to 2! To be honest, these monthly posts are wearing me down a little bit. It is fun to chronicle her growth and development, but it always takes so long to be so thorough. Enjoy all the time and love put into this month! 16 teeth, and I think the dreaded 2-year molars are starting to make their way in. Ugh. Says up to 5 words at a time on her own or in repetition ("No Harleigh! That's my shoe.", "Boy's green hat" etc.). Uses a fork and ...

Sunday, September 7, 2014. Sic 'Em, McLane Stadium! Y'all It's been a month since I blogged. Back to school, Cara's birthday, all kinds of life stuff has been happening, and I have a backlog of posts, but I've got to get through them all. I did want to highlight a big event in our lives and the lives of many Baylor fans- the first game at McLane Stadium! We knew we had to take Cara, even though it would be tough with logistics and weather and the unknown, because it was the first game ever! Once the game...

You're My Rushmore, Max: My Birth Story--Delivery
http://youremyrushmoremax.blogspot.com/2015/05/my-birth-story-delivery.html
Sunday, May 3, 2015. My Birth Story- Delivery. It was finally time to push! Dr Thomas actually came in for the entirety of my pushing and delivery (most doctors come around mostly to catch the baby! She said this was the best part and why would she want to miss it! Very early on you could see and feel that tiny head of hair! It was encouraging to see and feel progress. It wasn't exactly how I'd imagined labor and delivery going- and definitely wasn't what I'd hoped for our baby's first few days of life- ...

Monday, January 12, 2015. 16 month photo. because I'm a slacker and didn't get her 15 month photo in time. Since the changes aren't coming quite as fast and furious as they did during her first year, I'm going to update every 3 months or so. However, we've seen SO much developmental growth these past few months, it will be hard to document everything! My girl IS a talker! Thank goodness. Being able to give her peanut butter sandwiches will make lunch time so much easier! She loves all music, all the time...
